Game will be off, freezing weather for the next 4/5 days apparently

Sick of the circus now, been over a fucking month without the daft clown incharge opening his gob and giving any indication of where we’re at with a new manager...last seen smiling and loving life at craven cottage and then fucks off to Dubai.. are we going to do this during every transfer window in an attempt to save a few quid getting players in..
Lets hope people get paid this week..

Lost all respect from me when he was walking around Falaraki with his mates about 15 years ago acting billy big bollocks but dressed with fucking bandana on his head..goon..
-
Just out of interest, does anyone know if Salford city have had any man utd yoofs on loan given that they have their class of 92 there..

Lang was close to tears when he was applauding us at the end, looked absolutely gutted..At least they are showing they care and the fight was evident, need to put some kind of a run together in the league now to push for the play offs. Massively important games coming up, if we can get something at MK franchise, we then have Morecambe, Crawley, Yeovil and Crewe which are all very winnable..
-
Sylla was ok in the middle, O’Grady had a decent game to..We could have scored 3 in that second half but was robbed..still on my way home gutted...

As i put on twitter when that ref was announced:
A very good chance for us to progress to the 5th rnd of the fa cup and the FA in their wisdom put a bloke in charge of the game who was almost lynched by one of our fans at Rochdale and it recieved wide media coverage..expect a Donny win with a pen and one of ours sent off. #oafc

Not a bad half, Clarke has been immense but the prick with the pony tail is dangerous

So am I if we have healthy squad numbers but the last time I looked we are down to the barest of bare bones and a couple of competent players wouldn't go a miss.
What narks me in all this is the apologists who rather than challenge the way we are being run (like a circus if we are honest with nobhead ringmaster) go about defending the way we are operating, if we are going into the game tomorrow with the same squad as we did at Macclesfield (minus Maouche) it's a piss take.
I agree, we are definately showing a lack of ambition by not strengthening, losing Lydon surridge and now Maouche is massive for a threadbare squad where we will probably have to name untried young kids on the bench in what is the most important phase of the season..

....and there you have it. Lemsagam is telling the coach he can’t play Hunt but has to play Branger.... and people defend him. THIS is why Scholes won’t take the job. I’m still of the view 4,000 tics should let him know we are unhappy with him. “Fit & Proper, you’re having a laugh”....
We wont get any manager at all if he continues with his interfering antics, im surprised he didnt name his brother as manager..
We are currently his play thing and until he backs off the whole thing will go bang..

If by a a few people you mean Matthew Bourne, you're going to be disappointed.
The whole point of him leaving us was to move up a league, plenty of Latics fans in the know these days which is quite funny when we have the most secretive owner ever..

A few people on twitter this morning believe Surridge is returning, thought he was going to bristol rovers myself

I expected Fulham to smash us and went to enjoy the day and visit a new ground, Donny is about as repetitive as we could get as we have played them 2535 times in the last 8 years..The game doesnt have the same feel as the Fulham one and the excitement isnt there this time for me, just hope we are competitive and still in the game by 60 mins to give us a chance..

I seem to recall reading he fronts up a successful family business which he enjoys and it would take something special to get him to give that up. But that was a couple of years ago in the Oldham Comical.
Also left a nice sum by a grandparent, footy is an hobby

We did bid for him last summer. It was reported in the press. The bid was something ridiculous like 30k now and another 80k if we get promoted, which was never going to happen.
As for this window, Wild wants a left back and a "number 10"...
Wild wants? We all know its whatever AL wants is what will come in, we desperately need more reinforcements and some quality in the last third..
I remember us putting in a cheeky bid for him, think it was Cheltenham who offered about 150k for him and it was turned down last season..
Afc Fylde are in a position where financially they dont need to sell aswell..

Should we be wary of somebody who has turned up from nowhere to apparently become are saviour??
AL has alledgedly ironed out the majority of our debts and for that he should be given some credit, on the flip side we now have a limited amount of staff at the club from the first team, office and to the juniors..I will always ask why would a sane minded person take over a football club where he would be throwing away his hard earned money without the possibility of ever recouping the same amount unless you unearth a Messi..
What were the motives of a foreigner coming to Oldham with an average fanbase of 4,000 and always languishing at the lower end of league one , in the shadow of the two prem clubs and locals preferring to cheer them on the TV..
We are currently watching the worst team i have seen in my 36 years supporting us..
The Tta before AL saved us at the last minute and kept us afloat and seemed to have the right intentions at first before it became clear they would be wanting to get their money back by selling land and then two of them walking away leaving Corney to deal with it..
I struggle to see why anyone would like to own a football club unless money was absolutely no object, it makes you question if there are alterior motives of owning our club if you dont invest..
All seems a bit dodgy to me and especially when Simon Blitz popped up at Fulham, is AL an aquitance of the tta...Just a thought..

Im surprised Danny Rowe at Fylde hasnt been snapped up yet, scores goals for fun and he is now 28 so time is running out for him to play in the leagues..

No. Different name back in the day. I still wonder if the other lot still post on here, Beardy, Chickers, Rocky etc
Met a few of them at the fans game in Huddersfield and Preston, quite a few years ago

How long can AL drag this out? He sacked the manager just before the transfer window opened, appoints the youth team coach on the 28th Dec to stand in because there is nobody else left and not only that he then continues to bring in new players without a manager in place..We then hear rumours that Paul Scholes will be in the job in ten days , coincidently just as the transfer window is closing..AL is petrified of not playing this football manager game himself, he will continue to be intrusive within the running of the team and no manager will be trusted in any transfer window because this is his baby and he is paying for the right do whatever he wants..He is the one spending his money so he can run this club however he likes now...

I think there may be a few more issues than just the Salford City situation.
Please don't quote me on it because I'm nowhere near 100 percent sure, but I think the deal could be off...
I noticed people have been asking Alan Nixon on twitter if he’s heard Anything about the Scholes deal being off, seems really strange for the club not to make any comment at all despite all of the media speculation surrounding Scholes..
in Oldhams case no news is always bad news
