  2. The response to this incentive goes to show how good latic fans are when something worth while is tried.

OWTB is a perfect way for fans to push ideas like this and with the help of LDA this incentive could help many kids who might not be able to attend games. Kids are the future of the club so that is why incentives like this are so important.

The Oldham Community Trust led by Wendy Noble and Matt Pickford already target local football clubs and schools with offers. If this incentive can help disadvantaged children in some way either those in Care or recovering from illness, it is another group of kids who might get the ‘latic’ bug and become fans of tomorrow.

Communication has already been made with social services about this incentive and I know the club are thankful of fans once again running with positive ideas that help the club.

  4. My own opinion is this

City will bring more fans to this game as they are now global team for pre season games.

This one game can help pay towards the pitch renovations - pension commitments from Premier days we got hit with and maybe a few more quid in the budget for a player or two.

City fans will travel all over uk to watch there team in thousands just like Newcastle !

Not much travelling costs should mean more come to BP we should have charged £20 ! 100,000 city fans would have still paid it !

Not for one minute do I want the club to Turn down a chance of making money !

City will bring many with the expected team that's playing !

If City can pay for things for our club with this gand there money is more than welcome owtb !!!

  5. Date online: 12 July 2012 - chronicle

MARIO Balotelli and company are set to grace Boundary Park later this month in a game full of intrigue and prestige.

A friendly has been fixed between Premier League champions Manchester City and Athletic for July 31 (7.45pm kick-off) to give game time to the club’s Euro 2012 stars. It replaces the Birmingham City fixture due that night.

Though it has come about quickly, Athletic are overjoyed about landing such a lucrative game — one that former City striker, now Athletic boss Paul Dickov and club officials have been chasing for some time.

The majority of City's first-team squad will definitely NOT feature — the squad will be in the Far East on tour.

But there lies the prospect of the club’s Euro 2012 players taking to the field against Athletic. Italy striker Balotelli, Spain schemer and winner’s medal holder David Silva, France duo Gael Clichy and Samir Nasri and England trio Joe Hart, Joleon Lescott and James Milner have been given leave from tour duties.

Playing Athletic offers a chance to get non-touring players match fit in a game sure to be a big hit with supporters.

  7. Lee did pay all outstanding money to playershare and a little bit extra with donations to Boundary Blues..

The walk made almost £500 - Lee made arrangements and paid all money he had promised also replaced money that was lost on the trip after it was left on the mini bus. This had all been banked Via Mike and accounted for.

Only a few who did the walk presented the money on the Pitch - Lee was not one of these people.

As for wanting to follow the team again - he wants to but will he if he doesn't feel safe doing so ?

Let's try to remember who is the younger fan here ??! Live and learn I say !
