  1. Everything's disappeared from my Itunes.

Just the small matter of over 4000 tracks. Any ideas??

Haven't changed anything, just clicked on it today and there was nothing there.?????

If all your tracks are still on your ipod, you can transfer them back onto your itunes by either enabling your pod as a hard drive or by using one of the many ipod to itunes software packages. Go to the support section of the apple site and choose the appropriate forum, there you will find the answers to your problems.....

I only know this because that'w what I've been doing today. Apart from "working" from home of course......

  2. 4-3-3 was awful! O grady was so alone and won nothing, Smalley and Taylor were too far away from him,

This isnt a Shez out moan as people will know on here im a big Sheridan fan but tonight he got the setup wrong.

No need to rest both Hughes and Lewi one should still be in the team.

    didnt understand the 4-3-3 /451

Eardely didnt complete a pass I dont think he is so inconsistent (too say how well he played at Crewe)

Maher.... still very unsure as with O grady

Im not worried about the league but I just think we should have tried taking the game to them !

    KTF

Agreed. The 4-5-1 didn't work at all. It didn't work in pre-season, and didn't work tonight.

O'Grady did a lot of running, but was out-muscled by the Burnley back line. As was our midfield for most of the game. They seemed to be able to knock us off the ball at will. And when we did get the ball out wide, it was wasted time and time again. The main culprit being Eardley. He couldn't cross his legs tonight - reminded me of Griffin - and his general distribution was awful. £3m??? You're having a laugh. Maher didn't do much, and Whits was kept on top of. Same for The Rat.

We looked a little better second half, and Alice looked sharp when he came on, nearly scored too but for a smart save by their keeper. Hughesy didn't do much for the time he was on and neither did Lee. Taylor looked like our only real outlet, made a few good runs, but, unfortunately, they all came to very little.

A bad day at the office today as far as I'm concerned, against a decent side. They didn't look to even break a sweat.

Hey ho. Back to the league and back to 4-4-2

  3. You every heard him and the bloody bell???? He's been banned from Wembley for a while ... I was near him when they took it off him. How does him constanly ringing a beel create an amtosphere????

Instruments don't make one jot of difference to the atmosphere for me, they are a fairly new concept that started appearing in grounds once the new laws / all seater stadiums came into effect ... these changes are what as killed the atmosphere in grounds along with the Premiership/sky's marketing of the game.

I'm not singularly saying ban instruments and you've got no atmosphere, it's all part of the whole package of changes thats been occurring in football for some time now. As you've said, it all started with the abolition of terracing, TV issues etc, but is going right down to smaller issues like a bloke making some noise. Not my cup of tea, granted, neither is Josh and his infamous drum, but it's the principle of it all that hacks me right off.

  4. Just seen on Sky Sports News, John PFC Westwood, the Pompey bell ringer, has had his bell and bugle banned!!!!

They had him on the phone, and he basically said what a lot of people on here are saying: that the fans who want to make some noise and create an atmosphere are being forced out of the game.

It's such bollocks. It won't be long before every ground in the country is completely sterile.

Oh, and that should read Josh's drum....

  5. Got a new Vista laptop and everytime I try to watch the match highlights on LW, it tells me "a component of Media player needs to be upgraded" Whenever it starts to download, it then tells me it can't be upgraded. It's Media player 11.

I've sent PTV an email, but I'm not holding my breath.

    Any ideas??

P.S. The only resaon I mention Vista is that on the PTV tech help section, it deosn't mention vista at all in the list of compatible OS.

  6. I'm glad you started the thread, it has exposed the horrific levels of racial intolerance that exists towards Rochdalians.

I will say as someone who has lived slap bang between the two that Oldham is, on average, rougher than Dale. Not that the comparison says a great deal for either of them.

The bottom line, as we all know, is that it's no different from anywhere else really, there's places you go and places you don't.

The Dog & Partridge is usually good for overdressed gash on a weekend. Let's hope it's the same on a Tuesday!! More in blind hope than expectation........

  7. FFS fellas !!!! - this is Rochdale not the Bronx !! - have lived here many years and altho many of the pubs are mingin and unwelcoming there are many many tougher ones in Oldham to be sure !. Most Dale fans I know are decent folk who are really looking foward to the banter and welcome the opportunity to share a few scoops with us Biffos !. the so called Rochdale Yoof are a small bunch of spotty teenagers aged 15/16/17 who probably havnt started shaving yet and are still waiting for their balls to drop, never mind have their first pint ! - no worries about them !. No real Dale fans will be looking for trouble. Rochdale, like any town, has its share of neanderthal deadlegs but I seriously dont thing that there will be any probs in town centre due to GMP and the massed ranks of Latics fans that we see on most away days will be safe. A few all day drinkers who arrive early doors and get tanked up might antagonise a few but the same applies to anytown anytime !. No need for any worries folks - Rochdale certainly aint this wild frontier town that its being painted as !!. Mind you - avoid the Highland Laddie near failange on the way to Spotland .... now that probably is the Bronx !!. Good call earlier on previous thread - Dog and Partridge or Elephant and Castle further up Bury Rd - decent pubs with no trouble and still walking distance from Spotland. All together now ' Oh when the bluuueeesssss......'

This thread hasn't quite gone the way I intended!! But then I suppose it's my own fault for mentioned alleged firearms incidents!!

I'll probably do the usual town centre boozers then maybe go up to the D&P or the E&C for a few more looseners.....get the ole vocal chords in shape for a zigga zagga or two!!

  8. Exactly. Infact, i'd be more bothered about tomorrow or next saturday than tuesday.

Again, exactly. Which is why Dale have started panicking a little now it's come out we've sold 2/3's of the away end and it's not exactly hard to get in the home end's seeing as it's pay on the day. Unless you're wearing colours.

    Take a bow GMP.....

  9. Can't finish work til at least 4.30, and have taken the Wednesday off...... But am a bit hesitant to go anywhere near Rochdale to drink after discussions on tother thread about this

I know what you mean. I was talking to a Bolton supporting pal of mine earlier this week. He said when Dale played the Trotters a few weeks ago in a pre-saeson friendly, both Dale and Bolton's yoofs were going at it all day!!!

He also said a lad he knew went into the Woolpack (top of Drake st, near MFI) and got a shotgun pulled on him!!!!!

Serves him right for going into one of the roughest pubs in the North West though!!!

    :rifle:

  10. One of the club's main sponsors is a company which supplies electronic security and the club gets turned over yet again...............................

I'll be happy to give them some advice if they don't mind me stepping on the toes of Detect All!!!!!

  11. That's at least five of us to my knowledge and we know the players and Shez/Tommy can hear us, so all we need to know is whether the Zigga Zagga chant starter is with us or in the RRE. :zigga::chaddy::latics::OWTB1::bluearmy::comeon:

I'm not THAT zigga zagga starter, but mine are louder!! I'll be in there next season!

    edit: the RRE that is....

  12. Just back and i'm glad I went, even if it did mean missing the drama at Anfield.

Firstly. Sheridan was there tonight. Not sure why. Looking for potential targets perhaps? or just trying to find out what entertaining football looks like? who knows. Though that tonight was entertaining. I knew it'd take Dale a while to break down Notts County. 1st half wasnt the best, dale had two good penalty shouts but an inept ref was never going to give them. 2nd half they bossed with some nice football and cracking well worked goals. Dale got one and continued at break neck pace to get a 2nd. Once again it was a joy to watch and superb value for money.

That table makes good reading. Man of the Match - Either Ramsden at the back or Rundle who ran County ragged.

Went there myself tonight with the brother in law and a mate who are both Dale fans. I always try to get to 4 or 5 games at Spotland every season when Latics aren't playing or are away long haul.

I must say I was pleasantly impressed with the whole evening!! Dale were on top 1st half without creating too much, but how County missed that scramble at the Sandy end I'll never know. Nailed on pen for handball, don't think the ref could see it, but the liner should have given it. County actually looked quite solid at the back.

2nd half a different story. County looked ragged and that #11 Rundle deservedly won MOM. Wasn't too impressed with Perkins, got bullied off the ball for County's first. And how gay does he look????? Bleached white hair, white boots, tights and about 4 foot nothing!!!! Thought he was a dancer when he was warming up pre-game!!!

Quality move for Dale's third, just as you thought County might get back into it, then strolled it until the final whistle.

Thoroughly enjoyed the evening. How it makes a big difference to watch a game in a positive atmosphere as opposed to all the bitching we've had to endure (and sometimes contributed to!!) at BP this season. Obviously it makes a difference when you've won so many on the bounce and lookin good for at least a play off place, but still, it made a pleasant change.

Great pies (smothered in mushy peas!!), a pint in a glass, a decent DJ , and only £15 to get in. Superb value for money. TTA take note.

I'll definately go again before the end of the season.

Oops, nearly forgot, Butcher was pants!!!!
