I admire KE for doing the interview and it’s definitely appreciated by fans who don’t want to be kept in the dark.
I’ve no idea why the chief exec of a professional football club would want to get into online spats with strangers, but at least he sees it as bit of an error on his part and will maybe think twice in the future.
The Wheater thing leaves more questions than answers but you can’t see him playing for the club again so it’s probably best for everyone if he just gets moved on.
It’s good that he wants the academy utilising better. The fact that it’s not in the Sporting Director’s skill set is a worry.
The club crest thing is a bit odd. They didn’t ask for fans to send in their own ideas but did let people leave feedback, which they did, and he seems frustrated with the lack of errr... feedback. I emailed him at the time with my suggestion and he even replied (very courteously and promptly), so it’s not like only 7 people voted on it and no one really gives a shit.
Another good episode, looking forward to the next one.

Listen in every week. Very enjoyable with some decent, level-headed contributors. Keep up the good work.

Does the Labour party know something we don't about a merger with manu.
Reported on Sky, "Labour's shadow justice secretary David Lammy gave a light-hearted response: "Good to see Matt Hancock giving Daniel Rashford the praise he deserves. A true Manchester Athletic fan." ".
He was taking the piss after Matt Hancock forgot Rashford’s name earlier.

We probably did fuck all with the "community" compared to today around 1989/90/91 when we were really good and getting 18,000 in....
Makes you think....
Quite possible. I can’t see us winning any leagues in the near future though

I’ve been to some Halifax RLFC games this season, and their work within their community is on another level compared to ours (and probably a lot of other football league clubs).
Local kids teams on the pitch before games, club staff and players in the town drumming up support and sponsorship from local businesses, far more comprehensive social media output.. it all develops a much bigger presence and a stronger bond between the club and the town. Something it feels like we don’t do as well as we could.
Were competing with Sky Sports subscriptions/Utd/City.. the club needs to get out there and and sell itself better to the townsfolk, of whom the club represents.
It seems the only decent bit of press we’ve had recently was the sensory packs that were put together.

The guy playing Boys in Blue through a loud-speaker outside FGR is keeping the faith.

Wasn’t as bad as expecting, but bugger me, we’re going to struggle to find the net. The formation doesn’t suit Wilson/Desire/Vera at all.
Mills a positive. Sylla was alright.
Need beer.

I can see a clamour to get this lad fit again after we ship a load of goals in August.
Welcome to the club Tomas, no pressure.

The one who was more than capable of playing out of the back is now spraying 60 yard passes to feet all over Ibrox
Iacovitti sprayed a few into the Joe Royal stand. Thankfully no one was injured.

A 16th place finish!!
You’ve set some high standards there haven’t you?
I’m a dreamer.

The team that finished yesterday’s game looked very close to what’ll be our starting XI for the season, although I hope to god we won’t see much of Vera being a loan forward. He looked keen to get on the park yesterday, but didn’t look like scoring, even if he an extra 90 minutes on the pitch whilst everyone else had a shower and got changed.
As was mentioned by Pete Wild, this team is gonna get bullied off the park. As well as many other things, we’re desperately missing a general. It look as though the head coach (still don’t know how to pronounce his surname) wants us playing out of the back, but it won’t take long before a team of 6”5 League 2 knuckleheads knock us off the ball and get amongst our ill-prepared defence.
Wilson may bag a few, which will probably lead us towards a depressing 16th place finish.
No club shop yet, no working advertising boards, no drinks, no North Stand, no program, and some knob-end abandoning his 68-reg Range Rover on the pavement outside the old club shop. Buzzin’.

At least Sefil wasn’t totally terrible. Today.

Hmmm we’ll see.
Isn't Wesley Sneijder playing in Qatar? Let’s sign him.

Assuming we’re getting new stock throughout the club shop after last season’s “everything must go” sale.

Mr K - think about it before firing from the hip. I am not renewing my season card - and season card money is often seen as vital to a club owner to tide them over the close season.
I`ve said that is because I cannot support a regime until some semblance of order returns. When it does (and I am not bothered whether that is via the owner changing his ways, or a new owner - I just want some stability and common sense) then I will renew my unwavering support.
So, I might not attend a single game next season - I might attend them all (and yes that will cost me far more than a season card).
However, the way I see it, at least I am sending a message (I accept small in isolation) to the owner, whilst still leaving the door open to renew my support. Makes sense to me.
Amen.

We could do with a banner for the Mansfield game reading ‘FIT AND PROPER?’.

The weather forecast is terrible for overnight and tomorrow. Hopefully it isn’t, as I believe fan action is needed, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see the game P-P’d.

Hi Billy, when trying to access season ticket info on the ticketing website via my phone, the link just comes up with “We’re Sorry” each time.
Something that can be looked into?

Beaten by a far superior side. First sub came 10 minutes too late for me, but truth is we never looked like scoring second half.
Our fans are amazing.
Peter Clarke’s clearance off the line was amazing.

Doncaster to rest players to concentrate on play-off push, or play a strong side for a lucrative 5th round tie?
Ex players and that

The lack of reserve grade football means the gap between youth team and first team is too big. It’s a lot harder for the kids to break through without getting blooded against experienced pros in reserve games.
