    Not Virgin unfortunately. I am flying United, so an American airline allowing me to watch "football" is a slim chance. But it is an American airline, all I have to do is get a gun and demand they play the Latics game. Job done!

    Our most important game in recent history and I will be 35000 feet up in the air on a 15 hour flight not having access to the Internet. I don't know how I will cope.

    However it is in our hands. Win and we don't have to care what happens in other games. We are not hopeless away from home, so we are in with a shout of a win.

    I look forward to getting off that plane and giving a scream of joy at the baggage carousel.

    Shit, it's tight at the top of the premiership. If one of the top 5 was to get a 20 pointer, it's game over.

    Same applies to the top 4 of the championship.

    No runaway leaders this year, which makes for good tense predicting, and the odd banter

     

    How New Blue and Latics_Fanatic have fallen since last year when they were vying for top positions. It's hard to be consistently good, but practice makes perfect they say, but I fear you will be practising in the Championship next year.

    Disjointed also having a poor season after finishing runner up last year. I suppose the constant 1-1 (HT0-0) prediction only gets you so far. I think he will learn from this season and come back stronger.

    Wonderful to see Hometownclub doing so well after coming up from the championship last year.

    With this years expanded prediction membership, the trend might be that the promoted Championship sides start filling the top half of the Premiership over the next few years. Great to see.

     

    Looking down the lower end of the Championship I nearly cried like Steve Smith, when I saw the 2014/15 Premiership runner up Warwickshire latics is 5th from the bottom. Oh, how the mighty can fall.

     

    A shout out to Bristol and Stevie (+ kids) for running a well organised competition.

     

    With it being so tight, the gloves are off for me now. No more casual predictions from me from now on. I am off to study the form for Monday's game.

    Now where are those predicting notes Mr 24 left?

    Oh shit! they are so old they are in latin and roman numerals!

    Aiden_Latics predicted every game at the start of the season (seemingly 1-1 (0-0) Clarke). Stevesidg regularly predicts games a month in advance and Singe has just predicted every game until the end of the season.

     

    It might not get you a decent score every game but it’s a tactic to at least get you points every game. If you don’t remember to edit your prediction. It certainly is useful if you know you are going to be away for a few weeks.

     

    If you predict every game for the rest of the season from now, you might not stave off relegation but you won’t be as bad.

     

    Except that bastard aiden_Latics edited his Scunny prediction just before the match kick off, causing me to be knocked out of the cup. The sneaky bastard. Luckily I am not bitter about it.
