  1. I would like to thank the other 56 predictors for making this prediction season happen.

I like many of us have had my ups and downs. But I am very happy to have won the Premier League (again).

I special mention to @south east latic for accumulating the highest number of points for the season.

Comiserations to @lookersstandandy who put the wind up me late on in the season. I would like to think my experience in those types of situation saw me through.

Well done @mick26 for winning the cup. This is a competition I covet but perform badly.

A special mention to @Bristolatic and @Stevie_J for well organised competitions.

Stevie, I am going to try and reject the payment as I would prefer the money to be used in the following way.

    1) pay my entry for next year.

    2) 50% of the remainder to go to OWTB

    3) 50% of the remainder to go to @Bristolatic charity.

I will PM you if I am successful. If not I will find another way to get it back to you.

    Thanks

Congrats. I nearly went for a loss once I saw the teamsheet, just thought they’d be on the beach too.

    Thanks.

This predicting lark has fine lines. If you would have suck at O-0 for HT at Newport you would have won the league.

I thought Northampton would be on the beach too. I thought Latics would be OK at the back with Iversen back in the team, even though Clarke & Edmondson were missing. How wrong could I be?

You had a great run at the end of the season. The challenge now is to keep that going for next season.

Good luck for next season (if there is an Oldham Athletic next season) and very well done to get second place.

Also a big thanks for all your hard work in promoting the prediction league over the last year.

    "Regular season" points record. I'm not including the experimental Play Off points system as it was ditched after 1 season...... divisional winners by year below;

It is how the game has developed, Some suggestions works others do not, It takes time for the league completion rules to settle down. You show this as an example with your edit about attendance points being different over seasons.

How much skill is in attendance points? Especially when a person gets 20.

Maybe you should have done the table deducting the attendance point too, so you can prove your point further?

I have just realised that I am talking to Brits who voted for Brexit, then wanted to change it because it is not going give them the results they wanted. I should have known better.

  4. Good work Andy

I have a relation who is a Luton fan. Over the last 15 years he has had a rollercoaster of emotions. Promoted to the championship twice, consecutive relegations and promotions, and 5 years as a non league side.

I have not experienced the same despair he has had. I have been mainly on the edge of depression during the same time.

Although he was not happy when Luton were in non league I think I would have preferred his emotions/experience to mine.

However, if he was a Stockport fan I would be happy with what I have got, but another Stockport promotion I might change my mind.

I think you might find a long queue of Latics fans at the pearly gates. Or is this already purgatory?
