Right,before I start i`m 63 years old and been a season ticket holder in the Chaddy for donkeys years. Can I just say the young lads in the chaddy who were chanting virtually from start to finish were brilliant today and I`m sure that this relays back to the lads. Keep it up lads , we need you.

In October before the Orient game I was speaking to Ray Mathias on the car park and with him being an ex manager of Wigan and Tranmere I asked him what brought him to Boundary Park.He told me that he was doing some scouting for Leeds and I politely asked him to keep his eyes off Jose,to which he replied "No thanks,I`ve seen a lot of this lad at Tranmere and he`s not championship quality in my opinion".Well I think he is a tremendous prospect with some glorious,almost Sheridan like touches,and with the right people behind him who knows how far he can go.

Yes,a good idea this,it`s been done at various grounds and been a success.My brother is a Stoke fan and he paid for a brick when the Brittania stadium was built and he was well chuffed when he saw it.It read Tripper instead of Trippier,but they sorted it out, 2 years later!

I had a really good chat to Ray Mathias on the car park today,as he parked next to me,and he is now scouting for Leeds.He is an ex manager of Tranmere and Wigan and is a well respected guy in football so I asked him who he was here to watch and before he could answer I asked him to keep his hands off Jose Baxter.His answer was that he had watched Jose a few times last season whilst playing for Tranmere and in his opinion wasn`t good enough for the championship.Hmmm,wonder what he thought later in the afternoon.That said,he really was a top chap who was a pleasure to meet.

Totally agree,this lad is real quality and as you say,when he`s fully fit he will be a fantastic assett for us.If possible we need to get him signed long term.

I would send out Kirk Millar out on loan.For the life in me I can`t see the lad making the grade,and I was amazed that PD didn`t get shut.

Right,i`ve always hated Mr Neville,for obvious reasons and I was disgusted when it was announced that he was the new pundit on sky football.But fair play to the bloke he has been interesting,fair,relatively unbiased and very good in my opinion.Anybody agree?

I have to admit that on Friday I said to my Burnley & Blackburn supporting mates that I would take a 3-0 defeat now. But after witnessing our second half display today I have to take my hat of to the lads.To a man they fought like tigers and showed such determination to win the game when most sides would have been happy to play out a draw.I am extremely proud of the lads tonight,well done.

A week or so after we got beat by Forest at wembley we played Wolves at home on a thursday night,drew 1-1,Redfearn and Bull,this was my first game at boundary park and I was persuaded to go by my two Burnley supporting mates.I think it was 90-91 and i`ve missed only one home game since,Birmingham,I was at a wedding in Birmingham believe it or not.My wife passed away in December and her first game was Man U at wembley in 93 and the Birmingham game was the only one that she missed.

I`ve been listening to some different music lately and i`ve come across a fantastic piece which I think would be brilliant for the teams to come out to. The piece is called "the march and entry of the peers " from gilbert & sullivans "iolanthe".The version which is best is the D`oyle Carte opera company.Believe me this is fantastic.

Living in the Rossendale valley and not far from Accrington I can see problems for saturdays game.It`s absolutely lashed down virtually non stop this week and Accys pitch is notorious for holding water.If i`m not mistaken they had 2 games postponed last season for exactly that.Hope i`m wrong but i`d keep checking before travelling.
