No shit.
Playing for Oldham in L2 (jokes aside) under the guidance of possibly one of your heroes, isn’t akin to making jumpers in Taiwan for 20p an hour either.
Their money won’t be any less, but the football will be more of a challenge than what they are used to.
I think we’re all counting our chickens here before they’ve hatched , it was suggested that the new manager would be announced after the MK game, yet here we are still left in the dark !

Signed four players in this window to be fair...
3 that clearly aren’t match fit, and signed a left back (on loan) when we’ve already got fit players for that position, so not brilliant

To be fair O'Rourke is usually correct so I'd say it's believable, will wait until the club or more press announce it though
Come on let’s be honest here, unless Scholes has been doing some work in the back ground to bring players in, not a lot is going to change (other than him (and not one of the Lemsagam brothers ) picking the team)) he’ll have the same pool of players to choose from , and most likely have to play the same formation

Iverson
Hamer Clarke Edmonson
Sylla
Dummingham Missile Maouche Nepo
Lang Baxter
Thats a solid team with a spine which would offer much more up top than we have been producing.
No point playing big lumps up top if they offer nothing.
Baxter’s shown that he’s not fit enough , and couldn’t his a cows a..e with a banjo from 2 inches away

Can't argue with the second half of what you said...…..but both Gerrard and Davies have form with other clubs when they haven't got their own way.
Gerrard a big mouthed ???? but he has said he will tell all when his case against his dismal has been concluded, I guess that it will make some interesting reading and give us an insight to the way the club is run

And all with an axe to grind, I would add.
I haven't heard any negativity from Bryan or Doyle but someone may put me right on that.
Also, Clarke might have thought his Latics career was over after Wellens let him go out on loan and so had opportunities to comment but he remained ultra-professional and seemed quite matey with AL following the win over Fulham.
Maybe so , Gerrard and Davies have been most vocal( with Gerrard most likely to “spill the beans”) . But let’s be honest there’s no smoke without fire, and you can’t say AL fills you with confidence , no board, no CEO, no supporter meetings , staff sacked by email ... the list goes on !

Who really knows!!! It's easy for recently departed managers to say it was the Chairman's fault...….they are hardly going to admit to being crap themselves.
Bunn hasn’t made any comments about the chairman, but plenty of others have , Davies, Gerrard, Byrne et al

I think any improvement in the first half of the season post-Rhodes removal was down to Max Wragg. I also never felt that Bunn knew what to do to change tactics mid-game!!!
Or perhaps (as the media now suggests) that team selection was influenced from elsewhere?

Not having that.....PW got them playing with confidence very quickly.
Apart from Carlisle, the team were playing quite well under Bunn, beat Bury and lost narrowly to Exeter...

We got stuffed at home against Carlisle with O'Grady getting "beasted" by their two big centre-backs therefore giving Surridge nothing to work with. Why would you go into the return fixture with the same tactics and lineup with an expectation of a different result?
Getting a 6-0 thrashing up there showed up Bunn's lack of imagination and tactical nous.
Or perhaps his lack of available options
-

And that really worked well in both matches against Carlisle!!!
No but it did against Macclesfield, Crawley, Grimsby, Colchester, Bradford and Bury , so much so that 10 of the 12 goals scored by surridge have been scored whilst playing alongside O’Grady

Read back on here, many people said if we had played Surridge and Lang to run at him then results would have been different and would have exposed the gobby lump. Poor team selection by Bunn.
That never was going to happen, Surridge always played better playing off O’Grady, in the same sense that Doyle scored the major of his goals playing off Davies

That all it says or anything else with it?
That’ll have very little or no time to recruit new players no doubt

Scholes would quit if AL interferes with team matters according to today's Sunday Mirror.
Despite extensive talks those guarantees have not yet been received.
Also says Pete Wild was told to change his line up for the Doncaster game.
He had to change his line up for the Doncaster game because maouche was suspended and Vera isn’t match fit. However I suspect it wasn’t Wilds choice to nepo at left back

I didn’t fancy ten pages of people chatting shite, now l’m all angry
Bad timing from Jose.
Jose needs to take a long hard look at himself. He’s been poor all season and wouldn’t have been in the starting XI if Maouche hadn’t been suspended

Our annual drubbing is due then.
No Clarke, no manager, no players...
Lets just forfeit and take a 3-0 loss and save travelling.
We’ve already had our a drubbing , and hopefully by Tuesday we’ll have a (new) manager who’ll play the players in their correct positions

So am I if we have healthy squad numbers but the last time I looked we are down to the barest of bare bones and a couple of competent players wouldn't go a miss.
What narks me in all this is the apologists who rather than challenge the way we are being run (like a circus if we are honest with nobhead ringmaster) go about defending the way we are operating, if we are going into the game tomorrow with the same squad as we did at Macclesfield (minus Maouche) it's a piss take.
Unfortunately, we have very little choice , midfield virtually names itself and with limited options up front, we’ll probably play 4-5-1 formation

I was wondering when that bloody mower would appear again.
The good news is that if it's constantly storming into the dressing room, at least petrol isn't a problem this season!
It’s called a typing error (which I later corrected) but can clear see from the context of the post what it meant ... if all you can concentrate on is silly little error considering all the buffoonery currently surrounding the club, then bully for you mr perfect

We did.... and Tarky's.... believe me.
He left city on a free , so If that’s the case , we would have made money that than we would have got when he eventually left city

We are the only club to ever sell one and we did it twice.
So you have an insight to the financial dealing of the other (current) 91 league clubs , then I see ....
we did not sell on the clause for Richards, and even if we did (considering Richards left city on a free) we would have made some money on the deal (as opposed to the nothing that we got , when he went on a free to Villa)

Except if we had kept the sell-on clause when City got a loan fee we should have got a cut.
We, aka Corney, had already sold the sell on clause.
We didn’t sell the clause for Richards, and lost out when he joined Aston Villa on a free transfer, and I’m pretty sure that sell on clauses don’t include loan agreements... the clue is
in words “ sell on”

Can’t see it myself at that price.
In terms of the sell on clause (that Corney famously sold for peanuts of its actual eventual value) we only had a clause based on the sale of him from Brentford which was the sale to Burnley. We wouldn’t have had a sell on for every move he makes in his career.
FFS get over this sell on clause nonsense, we’d already had our figures burnt , we refused to cash in on the sell on clause for Mikka Richards and ended up with nothing but a blankety blank cheque book ...

I'm not blaming Wild he'd be a fool not to want to take the reigns at his boyhood club.
He’d be a fool if he took the job (and if you watch his interviews, he’s has much said that), because he’d be unemployed within 6 month, and he’d have had to put up with an owner that constantly storms in to the dressing room kicking off with the players after every defeat, and fickle fans calling for his head when we don’t win !!!
Trust Oldham - Meeting with Brassbank INFO as of 30/01/19

Perhaps you (or someone ) could consider a podcast, Vlog or live stream of the meeting, all (in my opinion) a better option than a PowerPoint presentation. Furthermore, surely the trust take minutes at the meetings they hold ? other wise how do you track the person or persons accountable for a particular action point ?
