Exactly. So for them it doesn’t change. Or them weird Pagan types.
The original question related to escaping the hot part of the year. In relation to the seasons it moves.

Not sure if you're trying to wind me up here, but you can have one bite. The Islamic calendar is lunar which is about ten days shorter than the solar one. Ramadan moves forward about ten days each year.

Newport have also been to Wembley 4 times in 7 years. One was to play Spurs though.
We haven't been to Wembley 4 times in 96 years.
I think we'd manage 15k easily.
Wembley is over used and utterly devalued. I've been to the new Wembley with friends supporting York, Stockport and Macc. Two of those were play off finals, the other the FA trophy. I don't agree with FA Cup semi finals being played there. At least I've seen Latics play in an actual cup final there.

Correct. It’s mostly shit. Luckily it wasn’t the pneumatic Jordan though, it was the beach boy wannabe Jordan that was commenting on Campbell.
Joe?

Sol Campbell absolutely destroyed by Jordan on TalkSport just now. Brutal.
I can't abide TalkSport and never listen to it. If they've got Katie Price presenting, things are worse than I thought.

At least it wasn't Barry feckin Owen. Mind you, who is there left to have received it?
David Walker holding his picture of the players and coach that actually achieved it.

Chris Coleman just spotted getting into a Rollers cab at Ringway, if I put a fiver on him he’ll be joint favourite I reckon
"Ringway" are you BP1960?

Phil Brown not enjoying his time abroad apparently and has a get out clause in his contract which he only recently extended but waiting for a job ‘up north’ in the UK, the other being Kevin Nolan. Doubt any of the two would accept the way AL treats people though.
Would take brown over clark and coyle any day of the week not great by all means though.
All very underwhelming isn’t it!
But isn't it sunny abroad?

What length of time constitutes an era?

A potential candidate from left field ... Joleon Lescott was a guest in the boardroom at the last home game.
There could be absolutely nothing in it of course.
I've seen him in Tesco at Handforth Dean so presumably still lives in the area.

Mansfield already appointed the academy coach as manager
Why don't we just do that then?

Pete Wild described as the current full-time manager. They couldn't have got that much more wrong.

Edmundson and Hamer are probably more vocal and influential than O'Grady despite his age and experience.
I believe he's a very, very nice bloke but he's (now) a fucking terrible footballer.
Is he, pound for pound, our worst ever player?
We've had worse players that have played a game or two but I can't think of anybody else who has been as bad as him and continued to be picked so regularly...
Pound for pound? Gerrard.

Just in case: Play-off dates
Semi-final 1st leg: Either Thursday 9th May 7.45 pm (A) or Friday 10th May 7.45 pm (B). Whether the tie is A or B is determined after consultation with police.
Semi-final 2nd leg: Either Sunday 12th May 6 pm (A) or Monday 13th May 7.45 pm (B).
Final: Saturday 25th May 3 pm.
I've bought tickets for the Warrington Weekender festival the weekend of the final. George Ezra or the tics at Wembley .
Sorry George , no contest.

I prey we can do it but have we ever won 6 on the bounce which realistically is what we need. Add that to the previous 4 wins and two draws, making us unbeaten in 12
You know that you can lose the first leg of the play offs and still progress? You can even go up without winning a single match.

Not really. A lot of the extra fans there against Mansfield are probably totally unaware of his running of the club.
Exactly. So if they're unaware of his running of the club they won't be angry about it and won't need placating.

Who knows eyresy....but he would need to more than treble the number of non season ticket holding supporters attending just to break even.
I just hope he's got enough cash to get us through the summer.....
Monday's game was a cracker. If people turn up because of the offer, like what they see and decide to come back it could bring financial rewards further down the line.
If it's an attempt to placate fans over his running of the club, it's pointless.

I don't think the stadium was opened until a few years after that.
