Can't think of many who have ever returned as a player who I can honestly say we're worth it
Milligan, Holden?

Interestingly league 2's top 3 managers are Richie Wellens at Orient, Brown at Barrow and Evans at Stevenage.
All clubs that changed their manager late last season, got a bounce and stayed up, and continued with great form this season.
....just to be clear I'm NOT saying I'd take any of them, just an observation
Who at Barrow?

I'm there with ms mum for part three of her 90th celebrations. She knows Frank so maybe she'll be OK when I go and have a pint with him!
Enjoy. Having spent so much time darn sarf, you're in a better position than most to cope with the prices in there.

I'll be in the White Hart tomorrow. Hope he's there!
It was the Lydgate one. Someone said he's mates with David Brierley so it makes sense.
Edit: I've just seen I already said Lydgate. Hope he's there Dave.

My brother was drinking with Mike Keegan in the White Hart, Lydgate. Frank came in and joined them. The view was he's both crackers and sound which is confirmation of what I think we are all sensing. p
My brother posted a picture of the three of them on Facebook with the following comment:
"What an end to a great night for Oldham fans, a pint with your best mate and a guy who I believe is a local journalist for the daily mail"

I don't think Milligan was unsung BP.
I think he was recognised as being a vital part of that great side.
In my opinion he was one of the less gifted players, but like many players when playing with better players they too look better.
He and Henry had relatively simple jobs- get the ball knock it five yards to one of the many runners be it winger or attacking full back. They did that job well.
The first player we ever sold for seven figures and bought back at the first opportunity. He was very sung.

He can write a mean sitcom too.

I hope he does really well and one day returns to a resurgent Latics. I worry that it could be like John Askey who did really well with Macc in the National League but struggled in the league. Good luck Pete.

took me a while to work out what u mean!! how much are they now? factor is all the cost increases, quite low russian involvement in raw matetials it actually should be quite nominal but then you need to think about white men in braces sat round a table sayin 'so, what would we get away with?' with that facor l would say around a 400% increase in 364 days. which l'm all for tbh bc its shit like this that people notice. the sea levels will have risen, thousnds of children would have needlessly drowned bc there house is now below water, tens of thousads more killed by war, hundreds of thousands killed by their pimps bc they have recently turned 11 and just arent profitable anymore.
literally nobody cares enough to do anything apart from a few girlfriends got outraged on fb about the pretty, white, eastern european eight year olds rounded up by putins mates and systematically raped to death on the unternet for cas but nobody actually did anything.
THEN
freddo's went up by 401% and the population couldnt take it anymore, stormed everywhere strung up boris and the HoP, HoL, homeless people ate food and warmed up, money and borders were abolished and we we all happy and content for about 50 years until people started to forget. somebody gives somebody else a shiny thing to put their willy inside them and about 150 years later our descendents have this same conversation.
those of you who know me personally, close your gobs, and think back who it was spent years warning about iraq, no WMD's, the expenses scamdal, the financial 'collapse', the grooming gang scandals and what putin is doing now. theres about six of you (theres about 20 really but loads of you are still somehow in denial )
anyway if you look at that and think uurggghhhh thats grim, yes.
if you look and think don't be silly that couldn't happen (as literally happens all around) l piff in your general direction
ffs mikey all that for a freddo
and if youre wondering 'l wonder how likely he views us all dying in flames the deranged madman?' well a year ago it was 1.5%, six months ago it was 6% and about three days ago l upped it to 17%. l did say 20% but l had a triple whammy emotional hit about the Rohynga, the dome of the rock and some report about australian natives suffering a systematic slow notion genocideat the time.
and clearly now lm bot emotional n the slightest
Jayzus
That's what I thought.

This is what I cannot fathom, for me if he signs up again it is a rejection of all the work PTBTrust /BPAS are trying to achieve, in effect an expression of support for this regime.
He has done what's best for John and not the club once before when he upped sticks and went to Notts County.
I'm hoping he knows something we don't about changes to come.
