  1. At the risk of sounding like Alan Partridge (not for the first time), I am Mike Leyland!

I'll give you a verbal wave next home game against Scunny if you like?

I'm always on here although don't post much, as you'll have seen I've just made my century. I was also preserving a bit of anonimity after starting the Owen Hargreaves thread!

I'll take the Kuqi comparison as a complement, thanks. I have a similar tempremant. Not sure what Roy will think about being compared to Smith though!!!

    Ahaaa!

  2. Can't believe some of the negativity on here! ....

Hold on we drew... That's why.

We played a damn sight better than we did against Tranmere, the difference being, Colchester weren't a bad side.

Honestly can't believe there wasn't many complaints after Tranmere but there are tonight? We played some cracking balls at times and were unlucky with the timing of cross field balls a couple of times which could of split them apart. PD clearly knows his weakness in cm and that's why we sprayed it across bypassing them so often.

As for Colchesters goal, poor Winchester should never of had it passed to him with a man glued to him, never mind being pulled by his shirt for 6 yards before losing possession, which led to a rash tackle.

Overall I think our heads went down once they conceded and I'd agree with bp1960 on fitness levels after the hour mark.... Still.. Don't think we were that bad.

  3. They paid for the ticket, it was a local derby.... whats your problem...

FFS, its called atmosphere.... I remember being at Oakwell in 91 when Marshy scored a header and we won 1.0, I saw :censored: all of the game but enjoyed it all the same.

I think their does need to be seat numbers, I was on the left last year, simply because I wanted to be closer to the singers, however loads turned up after kick off and just stood on the steps. Beer inside and people pushing eachother for space led to two knobheads behind me kicking off and ended launching about 7 people Including myself into the row infront.

  4. We've won two consecutive home league games for only the second time this season.

We've played poorly in both games (as a team - I couldn't say any individual had a poor game, just the way it gelled was awkward)

That's the frustrating thing this season, obviously a wins a win but you just want to batter someone. Once we got that goal today I thought "right we might get another 2 in now" but it just never seems to happen. You leave feeling slightly aggrieved even with the 3 points. Tranmere were poor today and we should of capitalised on that tbh.

If only we could get the sum of the parts to deliver just a little bit more.
