Floating fans or people who just simply cannot afford it?

1) where's the new stand?

2) when will a decision be made about whether we need to move out of BP and when will we be told?

3) instead of making it cheaper for floating fans to come along, has he considered cheaper season tickets?

I think the point he was making was that there aren't enough people who can afford to who are willing to do it.

Although I agree on the vicious circle, I think your slightly harsh on saying it's people that don't put money front that are to blame for the clubs situation. Not everyone's fortunate enough to be able to afford that sort of cash.

The only way I want compensating is by performances on the pitch, I pay my money for my season ticket to help the team through the summer months, guarantee me tickets if we get a big game and save me faffing about for the cash on a Saturday.

 

There aren't enough people like me willing to put the money in up front and that is why the club is in the position that it is. We're into lamp rubbing time and hoping for a miracle. The vicious circle of low budget > worse players > low crowds > low budget > worse players > low crowds > low budget.... just rumbles on.

Why is it strange? I can't afford a season ticket, and can't always afford home games, so this generous offer allows me to attend 5 home games for definate, which I'm extremely grateful for.

Part of me hopes you're all right but I reckon even if he turns out to be an ongoing nutter who will continue to "show faith and keep losing money" the club will still continue to diminish. The truth is Oldham doesn't deserve a team. This will be my last season ticket; after 37 years of support I really didn't care if the penalty against Walsall went in or not, I just wanted to go home. I work in a flamproofers and we got one last year to treat.

Ive a PS3 and Fifa10, willing to give anyone a few games a few times, unsure if id be able to commit to a league or fixture list (dont get chance to go on much)

They need to work out how to attract fans on a Champions League night when they are also at home on the Saturday.

 

Tickets for both games = £30 (instead of £40) when this happens? Would that increase crowds and revenue? I think it just might.

Completely agree, i would of stretched that extra tenner.

To be fair, for a lot of peole I think it's financial.

Thats the case for me. Nothing id like better than to be down there, but on short weeks at work etc.. finding it hard.

I think £40 for two home games in one week is expensive so must would chose sat game, no work, etc. £40 is for one Adult!!! think about people with kids, that is alot.

£40 plus beer money before the game?.. Pie at half time, it all adds up. Picking and choosing my games this season, saturdays looking like a watcher.
