If we're still in the :censored: by January I'd love Scholes to come in as player assistant manager to save us. He's just scored a ridiculous 35 yarder in an exhibition game in Hong Kong. To still have that power and precision 18 months after retiring is quite something.
-
would have taken that before kick off.
-
:censored: pitch, even :censored:ter football. No thanks.
-
They can get stuffed. They ruined our pitch last time and spoiled the football we could play in the latter half of each season.
-
If we start creating chances and keep a clean sheet I'll be happy. I predict 0-0.
-
If Dunn brings some of the organisation and discipline associated with an Allardyce side I'd be over the moon.
-
Mills and Brown have both been awful this season so I'd rather we play with three at the back.
-
I agree Dunn has a good personality Wizzo but he sounds like just as much of a thicko as Kelly does based on his Latics Player interviews. Johnson seemed to have a bit of a brain on him at least.
-
Swapping one inexperienced manager for another. Crazy.
-
Looks like Dunn with Holden as assistant if that's the case then I'm done. Again no real experience and that boring :censored: as assistant - no thanks....
I'd like to thank the board for killing my enthusiasm over the last 6 years or so
+1.
If the board has any sense they'll look elsewhere.

shame how our so called 'fans' (including a large number of atletico's) chanted kelly out. think the writing was already on the wall and it didn't need to be said. I would have give him more time. but unfortunately a fair few of our supporters where never really going to give the guy a chance. The fact that the supporters did that to one of our own, yet applauded the p'boro midget of the pitch is ludicrous. He deserved the applause, but don't do both. Hoping for a experienced manager, but no matter what corney does, i'll trust his decision.
Without this he might still be here. Well done to those who did. -
Neither B. Wilson or Philliskirk were convincing and I'd rather have them shipped out to strengthen other parts of the squad. I'm also unsure about Gunning and Poleon. Those four are still relatively young and could be found a new club I'm sure. At this stage of the season there must be some decent out of contract players that could offer more and could lower their wage demands.

Wes is :censored:ing ace, my favourite player this season, by a country mile.
He may not have the ability of say Gary Harkins but, if the rest of the squad played with his passion, effort and determination, we wouldn't be anywhere near our current league predicament.
wot he said.
-
I'd sign him up. He was class when he was with us on loan.
-
-
I'd have him back in a flash, he was class last season, even at times when he wasn't at full fitness. If Baxter goes I'd resign him for the quality of his deliveries from set pieces.
-
Reeves vs. either Bury or Chesterfield, can't remember which but it was an away derby. Awesome debut, didn't do much after that.
-
We're becoming the nation's second club.
-
Excellent today, kept the Chaddy End on their toes. Great escape was brilliant.
-
What scratch said.
-
Failed by squad players who haven't shone when their chance was given to them. Millar/Sutherland/Mellor/Taylor/Winchester(except vs. lpool) are the most forgettable crop of youngsters we've had in our squad for a long time.

Am I the only one who this is a bad appointment if true?
He lived on funny money here, got Palace promoted, and has done nothing since.

Megson?!? No thanks!

We attract crowds you'd expect of a League Two side these days, so you could say that for the last 20 years we've been overachieving by staying in this league.
Dunn has a point but at the same time I think he should appreciate that some of us are just having a laugh, rather than taking it to heart.
