Good player.
did a reasonsble job totally out of ppsition for a while and finally got pissed off about it.
thinking aboit it as l type DU's treatment of Rooney and Vaughan coupled with the terribble Football highlights his massive fllaw as a manager.
If he’s that good why has he had so many clubs….

You can only play one up front if you have a six foot plus forward who can hold the ball up and bring others into play.
The other purpose of this you have a forward willing to battle it out with the centre half’s and get a share of free kicks and get some set play goals.

One of the reasons I didn't post in detail last night is because I didn't want to be overreactive. But this morning, I still have it down as the worst Oldham performance I have ever witnessed...
I’d have to go with that but the 6.0 defeat at Leeds in 84 was also a dark day!!

Train wasn't much better delayed before it left Blackpool, but at least there was plenty of room, as Northern had put on a double train.
It took over two hours to get home. Eventually got in at 12.45 am.
I bet that pile of shit who turned up last night to represent the club on that pitch are still in bed when most of us are up and off to work absolutely knackered.

Mark Hughes, the one that played for us rather than THAT one, appointed assistant manager at Bishop's Stortford. Had a spell there as a player six years ago.
It’s longer than six years, more like 16

anybody who blindly respcts and defends the police as an entity is totally detatched from reality. l had some good interactions with a few and saw two lve dated
even individual police officers do not respect the entity they serve. its full of good people but its riddled with evil. yes, Evil.
totally totally riddled.
anybody blindly defending the police as an entity has never had a serious comvo with more than ten serving officers.
riddled.

I’ve just spoken to the Dale ticket office.
Anyone who hasn’t bought a ticket through Rochdale before will have their details sent to Oldham for confirmation.
it’s a bit crap this, I actually live in Rochdale and would sit or stand in peace at the game and keep my head down.
I don’t know what details they want from Latics?. -

Can someone tell this shower of shit that it’s a local derby.
Too many players in cruise control.

Without wanting to be pessimistic but that’s a strange and dour line up:
Looks like they are going to Moss Lane to get draw at best.

Great idea! (Not) We have been playing twice a week for some time now and the team as a whole are apparently running out of steam in second halves of games, so clearly they aren’t fit enough, let’s cancel the rest day and work them harder?
Strength and conditioning during an active season is not about, just work them harder. It is complicated. A match is the most intensive training session a player will have. Players need recovery.
I remember hearing a Team Doctor, from a then recently demoted Prem League club, talk a few years ago. Every morning the 4 sport’s scientists and 4 Physios and Team Doctor would sit and discuss each player to decide what that players activity would be that day. This was then monitored by the GPS trackers and reviewed the next day.
Get them in the pool then, they simply not fit.
Plus, semi pro teams are running rings around us and only train twice per week.
Plus it was a player at the club who doesn’t agree with rest days. -
For one I’d cancel the bloody rest days during the week.
To say they are full time professionals they pretty much blow out of their backsides after 70 mins.
We have a strength conditioning coach, a psychologist who had played and a nutrition specialist.
To be out run by other teams and some even part time baffles me.
Surely this is basic stuff, what’s John Harbin up to these days!!

Just answering a question . He was there though
I can clear this up for you straight away.
He and his wife were staying with friends who are Oldham fans and they stayed at the White Hart. He was there purely for a social.
I spoke to him at the bar, what an absolute gentleman.

Yep, lost 2-1 in front of 9.5k. Look at that team!
Gary Kelly, Craig Fleming, Richard Graham, Carl Serrant, Ian Snodin, David Beresford, Lee Richardson, Paul Rickers, Nick Henry, Ian Ormondroyd, Nicky Banger
Tbf Bradford had Duxbury and Chris Waddle in the team!
What pissed me off the most is that man who scored there winner (Ole Bjorn Sungat) or summat scored the winner.
He was on trial with us earlier on the season and we didn’t sign him.
He was going mental with the Bradford fans…

That’s a strong line up.
Pace up front, play it in behind them and stretch that back line like a medieval wrack!!!.
