This is possibly in the wrong forum but Im putting it in here cause the majority of Latics come in here!
Basically, I have just bought FM2009 and was wondering if anyone fancied joinin in an online game sometime soon - obviously negotiate dates & times at another time. Would be great if we could possibly get about 5 players max.
Iv played online before and its ace, and I will be the host as my database is updated.
Just a thought for now, let me know asap if your up for it.

In all seriousness I would like to see a keeper there on Saturday. If the figures don't add up or it will increase the club's debts to get a month loan then I would stick Bell in. I know you have seen the lad play Lags and I respect your opinion that you don't rate him - after seeing him in the warm up for the Stockport game I'm not totally convinced by him either but I wouldn't want the club's budget to be blown on a spare keeper when Greg will be back next game and Crossley can't be too far away.
But with a Friday afternoon footballing romantic head on - WIndass all the way! Lets have a bit of fun on a Saturday afternoon rather than sitting listening to kids no more than about 12 constantly slagging of the players having picked up so much negativity from their fathers.
After that comment, at least i can take you a bit more seriously now.....

You cannot be serious BT. If Sheridan plays anyone other than a keeper, be it rookie or not I will personally knock on Corney's door and tell him to relieve Sheridan of his duties. Not only that I will lose all faith in OAFC being considered a pro club.
Anyone who thinks Windass should start in net come saturday should either consider chasing a career in stand up (they must be joking).....or even sectioned under the MHA!
And addin to Lags comment, If Shez was to play anyone other than Bell (a keeper) in net, If i was Bell i would probably knock Shez for 6!

That is an outrageous statement. Yes he kept a clean sheet, but come on, he was all over the place whenever the ball was in the air in the box, the shot where they hit the post off that freekick - windass actually dived for it whilst facing the wrong way, and the one he saved was just an utter garbage shot by Fryatt....starting him in goal would be the most bizarre decision during shez's reign, and should we get spanked off them, Shez & Oldham will become an absolute laughing stock by putting a CF in goal!
It has to bell (should we not get a loanee in time)!

Decent opening so far, gonna be a tight game though by the sounds of it

I am very glad that we got 3 points, especially against Ronnie Moore - but in my honest opinion, we played more direct than Tranmere. Probably because of the stick he and his team get when we play them.

No surprise that someone from Oldham has been overlooked again (Chris Taylor). God knows how Danny Graham has won it, fair enough - he has scored 5 goals in 5 games, but Taylor has 4 and he is a midfielder and has scored 2 very good goals from outside the box - also, however much i hate the Leeds scum, surely Beckford (with 8 goals) should be above Graham?
Looks like the big teams have been considered a lot more again in Kamara's head!!

Not sure where you get that information from, Iv been selling tickets to Millwall fans all week (I work at ticketmaster unfortunately) and they just collect from the Millwall box office at the ground on the day of the game.
