For the handball
You mean for Edmundsons clearing header, explains it!!!!!!!!

But when did Clarke get his 1st yellow!!!

Is it right that each team from the lower leagues that go the furthest get £250k bonus from the FA?
As only latics & Newport are left from league 2 would we -
A/ get the bonus if we avoid defeat & Newport lose or
B / get half if we both lose!!!
-
Just seen Mouche red, not even a free kick at Old Trafford that.
Definite appeal.

We have seen from his career goals Vera is not one for chasing long balls, its an endless supply of crosses he wants to get on the end of.
Also 2 holding midfielders against a side that had conceded an abundance of goals just didn't' make sense to me.
Yeah, and put your best crosser of a ball at fullback whilst we have 2 sat on the bench.
As Cloughie used to say , football is a simple game , but we do our best to disprove that.

If someone can explain how Branger starts any game and sound as though they believe it can they tell me!!!
Also what drives me mad, when we finally replace him with Hunt we put a left footed Nepo out right and a right footed Lang out left.
Within 5 mins of the change both got free in great positions just inside the box but neither could deliver because they were both on the wrong foot.
Drives me bloody insane

Are you being serious ??? I’ll get you started then - Guardiola wasn’t half bad ... there’s shitloads. To quote 3 or 4 that are top managers but not set the world on fire as players is not proof of any pattern one way or the other. Whoever gets appointed is going to be a risk. We just have to hope it works out well.
Pep =1
For every Pep there is 10 Fergies!!!!

How many can you list that were good players though ?
Not many !!!!!

Don't get this Scholes for manager.
Being a brilliant player is the one thing that doesn't make a good manager.
Probably better odds of a complete novice like Wild doing a better job.
Don't remember Fergie, Wenger or Klopp geing good players!!!

Spurs, Liverpool and City all play with one striker...
The answer's not always 4-4-2. It's playing individuals in positions that get the best out of them that's important. You can play one up front and tear teams apart, and equally you can play two up front and be utterly toothless. This formation seems to get the best out of our wingers, Maouche, and both Missilou and Lyden, so it's fine by me.
They have world class players to do it !!!
Whilst I agree with a what you say, we are in league 2 and one thing the top 6 have in common..
Get men in the box , throw the ball in and something will happen.
-
Had too many visions of stepping back into the early season tactics today.
Playing an extremely poor side at home with one up front.
At least 3 times in the first half both Hamer & Lang couldn't cross the ball because there was nobody in the box.
A win is a win but any top 6 side would have made us pay today and if that's what Wild has picked up from Bunn then we need a fresh face in.

Doesn't Gary Bowyer tick those boxes?
Has been to BP at least twice in past few months!!!

Ridiculous! Literal meaning - inviting and deserving ridicule! One disastrous result and we dump the manager. Same team as most of us would have picked, players can't be bothered to put the effort in, and the guy gets sacked. On behalf of most reasonable fans I'm appalled and wish Frankie all the best for the future - you deserve better!
Problem is you cant sack 11 players!!!!!
IF only

As far as I am aware Clarke's booking today was his 5th of season.
As cut off for first 5 was 30th Nov he has another 5 to get before any suspension.

No coincidence that since Rhodes went we have a looked a totally different side, attitude completely changed from ultra negative. Our pressing when not in possession is fantastic.
After recent performances against Tranmere, Lincoln & Bury there is nothing to fear in this league.
-
Last time I saw us at Crewe I swore I would never watch latics again after a complete embarrassment of a display.
This was a complete world of difference from that. Best away performance since Bradford a few years ago and Missilou's performance best midfield dominance I've seen for many a year.
Said it before but no coincidence that since Rhodes went we are getting stronger each week!!!!
-
Must say I think we have looked much more positive since Rhodes went.
Maybe Abdul saw that he was having too much of a negative effect on performances and that's why he got rid.
Maybe the real Bunny is starting to come through !!!!!
-
When Mouche, Lang & Surridge played along the floor 2nd half we looked a class above Lincoln. Injuries may force Bunn to play them more in next few weeks if they can stay fit themselves.

It's interesting with Bunn's body language.
When were losing he stands there hands in pockets, head down looking clueless.
When were winning he's very animated, shouting at players and pointing.
Should be doing that when were losing!!!!!!

In Barry we trust then
The reason why we are sinking fast !!!!

Fans can't see what's happening behind the scenes we only see what's on the pitch.
What Bunn is serving up is dire and we deserve better.
Please give somebody else a chance and at least get the entertainment factor back.
-
Glad of the win but can still do a lot better.
Given how poor they were and then down to 10 men I thought Bunn could have made better subs.
I would have gone 3 at the back, brought Dummy on right & Nepo left , pushed Lang upfront and drop Baxter back in behind the front 2.
I still don't get this playing Lang wide!!!!!
Just hope we get some confidence from this but Bunn still doesn't fill me with any.

I usually like predicting the team etc... but what’s the point?
He will pick it out of a hat anyway.
i said after the game in the pub that we will scrape a boring win to paper over cracks. Typical latics!
Might as well go 5-5-0
Create as many chances and have a good chance of picking up a nil nil.
Sorry , that's our away set up.

Carlisle results sum our current run up, in the last 4 games they have lost to probably the 3 worst sides in the league in Morecambe, Grimsby & Macc but in between managed to completely outplay us!!!!
When we play at home we only need 1 holding mid not 2 so either drop Gardner or Lyden.
Also don't understand Mr negatives use of Lang, he scored 10 goals in a struggling Morecambe side last season playing upfront, yet when our main striker is missing we play him wide.
Last chance saloon on Tue bunnyboy, same old shite & I will be over to the director's box (if anybody's in it) leading the chorus of Bunn out.
Suffered 25 years of absolute boring shite yet nobody appears wise enough to think, hey this negative shite isn't working.

The refs refusal to explain to Wild what the pen was for sums up the situation.
IF the linesman was 100% sure it was handball why didn't he put his flag up.
IF the ref asked him he should have said, yes I saw a hand go up but cant be 100% sure it hit the ball!!!!!
So why didn't the ref ask the linesman why he hadn't flagged !!!!
Answer, I wasn't sure.
