Dear Mr Bunn,

If you really think anything of OAFC then please go and take your boring negative football with you.

At least give somebody else the chance of salvaging something from this season whilst there is still time left.

We haven't got world class players I know but to play 90 mins against poor opposition and create no chances yet again is now becoming mind numbingly boring on the Penney scale. 

You may gave been a legend as a player but your no better than a leg end at management. 

It's all a matter of will Bunn have the bottle to go with it in league or will Mr negative take over! !!!

The thing I'm struggling most with regarding the future with Bunn is ,

Going 352 I can just about accept even knowing it will never work,

Mistake yes but watching it for 45 min then sending out the same 11 to play the same system is bordering on insanity!!!!

Last season Lang scored 10 goals playing upfront for a very poor Morecambe side , we play him in midfield or wide.

Yesterday we should have had Lang & Surridge running down the channels for through balls against Gerrard. 

Piss poor management to stand & watch a complete fiasco for 45 mins then send out the same 11 to deploy the same system in the second half.

Sometimes managers are either too stubborn or too thick to change, I get the impression Bunn is the both.

Bunn's admitted he got it wrong tactically,  ok I have no problem with that and can forgive mistakes as we all make them.

What I can't forgive is standing watching your mistake turn into a nightmare for an hour and do nothing to change it.

You really have to question his mentality to become even a moderate league1 manager!!

No we didn't, I hate it and it very rarely works even with World class players.

I texted a friend at 3.10 to say that were playin 352 and he needs to change before they score. Unfortunately he waited until they scored 3 before doing anything.

That was the main problem, we clearly set up at the start to play 352 but as often happens with this system the players are clearly uncomfortable with it.

Consequently they end playing no formation and the opposition take full control.

Message to Mr Bunn, 

1/ Even the great Pep at City with World class players couldn't make 352 work so why are you trying to do something world class managers cant do.

2/ do we do any homework on opponents, Carlisle statistically are one of the worst sides at creating chances this season, so why do we play 3 CHs & 2 defensive midfielders at home.

3/ Gerrard turns like the QE2 so why didn't we put Surridge right on his shoulder along with Lang and feed balls down the channels. Only once did we do that and guess what, we scored.

4/ To watch for 20 min until Carlisle scored without changing tactics that were clearly not working is naive, to then watch for  45 mins then send out the same 11 with the same tactics in the 2nd half is unforgivable. 

If you genuinely feel anything for the club then please step down before you inflict any further damage on us.

Everybody keeps banging on about our away performances but it's the home form that's the problem. We've won 2 out of 5 and that's not good enough to get out of this god forsaken division. I will take boring away form if we can start winning at home. 

Better off without him, no player is bigger than the club.

Baxter & Byrne would struggle to play in the same team and I would rather have Baxter. 

We got relegated with Byrne in the side so he's no great saviour. 

Time to move on .

Would think if he scored 10 goals for us upto Jan then Wigan would probably be looking to loan him to a league1 club after that!!!

Not only that they finished bottom last year and never won a game,  perhaps latics should join that league we might win one!!!!

Usually if it's a remark made which is not usually associated to a type of person it's apologise and move on.

In this case it's probably more to do with the person and the remark is being used as an excuse to get rid.

I would suspect that judging by his past he is not the best loved player in the dressing room and this was the excuse the club was looking for.

We don't need players like that so happy he's gone.

What do they coach into keepers these days????

When I was a goalie I was taught -

1/ - IF you can't catch it push it away towards the touchline or out for a corner.

2/ - When diving to make a save always go with the hand which ever side the ball is going.

On the goal Pickford got his fingertips to it with his left hand, going with his right would have given him another 4 inches of stretch.

Basic stuff but appears lacking in most goalies at all levels. 

But I bet you remember who scored for latics , in what minute and the kit we were playing in a game from quite a few years ago!!!!

Looking at twatter I would think that had it existed 30 years ago I'm sure Joe Royle would have got exactly the same comments from a league of moaning barstewards.

Give the lad a chance, can he really be any worse than the dross we've had since Joe.

Can't do any worse than some of the horse shite we've had recently.

IF Wellens was the source of the leak how on earth could he not get rid.

Seems the only logical explanation as to the timing of it.

We will probably never find the truth but we have to believe & support AL because at this moment he's all we've got.

Amazing how many players appear to have played in nearly every game.

In the days when tackles were tackles they must have been much tougher!!!

Maybe they haven't paid the ones they want rid of !!!!!
