Last 30 minutes, naive footballing side with 10 men start playing football against the long ball, but organised, leaders of a league of hoof ball. Oldham the better side, but I am torn as to whether or not I want us to take more advantage of fouls to gain an advantage and firm up that card.

Referee must have eaten 6 packets of quavers with “be a ref” tokens on. Bad, but I am coming to expect it now.

O’Grady isn’t really striker (given that he doesn’t really strike) but from a term from other sports could be considered a receiver.

We are in a play off position and before the season i expected less. We can get better and we will get better.

I have a bit of a Miller fettish, hope he is on the bench.

Something to be said about group dynamics and organisational structure here - the one thing that is worse for a group than a dick head is a dick head that is better than everyone else.

I’m a little worried, the recruitment is odd and (although I wish it different) I think we may not have learnt our lessons from last year.

I don’t think that offloading a striker that can’t score is bad business. Put him back at CB and maybe there is a player there.

You do realise that if the wife/spouse/partner don’t allow access to all football games during a World Cup it is grounds for divorce and also an excusable plea for murder in a court of law.

Perhaps cup runs are a bit of a canary down the mine - seemed to lack any real bite with those this year.

The squad had so much potential after Wellens first 5 games, it’s strange to think that we have had pretty much the same players since Christmas, but the team has been completely garbage.

Enough chances to stay up, draws that we really should have won, Moimbe penalty and red card idiocy, Jewell, bizarre tactics, substitutions and something odd behind the scenes.

Must say that I don’t really buy the Wellens “it’s his first job” argument. Why not give the job to me or anyone if we are ok with them being crap. I could take us straight to the Evo-Stick Premier, but might get a promotion from there after 5 years.

Sticking to tactics that don’t work and putting Byrne out wide (wrong) is all obvious stuff, he is an inexperienced manager, but he is experienced at football.

It is time to continue to get behind the team, but play  a sensible team selection please RW! If it is obvious to us...

Usually dreadful on the tops as you know, but haven’t seen whether or not the sign is flashing for Road closed up there.
