So, based purely on guesswork, if Brighton get £7.5m (they have apparently turned down an offer of £7m), having paid £2m (a complete guess) and Charlton had a 10% sell-on, they would get 10% of Brighton's profit, which would be £550,000 and we would get 4% of that, which would be £22,000.

 

Imagine how many impotent strikers we could bring in with that!

Or maybe even foot the bill for the many different sized shirts Lee Croft will wear this year.

I honestly don't consider Cassidy a professional footballer. He's that bad I just accept we have 3 strikers.

Couldn't agree more. MOM for me today. He was everywhere. Some very good performances out there today, and a lot of hard work. Can't help but think we lack any counter attack pace though, but with that steady defensive unit we will struggle to be beaten playing like that

Have any of you tried the drive south recently? As a regular on that treck I can tell you the motorways are hellish at the moment. A 2 hour jaunt in the train is a farrrrrrrr better plan.

Exactly - I've had the joy of that journey a couple of times over the last few weeks and a train journey is highly preferable. I managed a 6 and a 7 hour journey recently with only minor incidents causing delays!

I'd rather go on a train than a coach to London! - hot weekend when hundreds of lunatics are dragging themselves up and down the country and sitting in traffic jams.

I'd love him to "come good" - more likely he will fall out of favour and just appear as a substitute from time to time.

Surely no one buys a football club as a sound business venture, so who knows.
