Is this a wind up?
Only time will tell
-
How long till the thread gets clocked?
Tempus fugit.
-
I reckon if he'd have scored we'd of gone :censored:ing mantel.
Yep - when I watched him, he seemed to have a decent set of cogs.
-
The joke that just keeps giving. The third time it's been used in this thread. Boring :censored: !
It's hour thread to do with as we please.
-
Perhaps i should Clock Out of this thread
Not until we have agreed the minutes
-
You can't close this thread! That would be blatant anti-Zeonism.
I'll second that
-
Your miles away from reality there ! I think the piss poor players we have get off very lightly at games. And rightly so as it's counterproductive. It will not make them any better. If we can't say someone is :censored:e on here tho, not really a footy forum is it.
Also he's a big tall chap and should be able to cause more of a nuisance! The dive was embarrassing - he actually has a good shot on him so why not try?!
-
The inflexibility of Peterborough struck me, when it was obvious that their 2nd half playing from the back wasn't working and they stuck with it I felt hope!
Also lovely to see us causing problems from a corner - we have some muscle at long last.
Holloway brilliant.
What did Shez give them at half time?
-
Credit to Shez tonight.
Some restless souls including myself were looking at the bench long before the penalty was given.
Even then he persisted with his starting formation allowing McLaughlin that cucial second goal.
Posh were dire, particularly second half and Shez's patience paid dividends.
Would Robbo have done the same?
Experience speaks volumes.....
You are right - when Robbo would have used a sub Sheridan stuck with the game plan. And (other than the fact that now the ball sticks up front) we had a game plan.

Fane can't head can't control and can't pass ......he can run and is very effective at breaking up attacks. That's about it. He is a like a Duracell bunny....runs as fast as he can all the time until he runs out of juice
Does that make him our best midfielder? ;-)
-
Matty palmer please
Arnold Palmer rather than most of the midfield and he's dead.
-
-
He keeps picking Green and McKay, hence two of the major problems.
Probably because combined they sound like an ice cream or chocolate supplier...
-
Looking at the match report from Fleetwood we did provide a couple of good opportunities for Billy, but he seems to have a mental block with finishing against any team above league 2.
Definite 0:X
-
This whole Billy Sharp obsession he's developed is grating.
Most sides in this division have got over the fact they can't afford the division's best striker and have got on with it, while our strikers have got worse. It's grating.
There is an excuse for having no striker scoring 25 goals a season, but there isn't one for 12 goals in 23 games.
Why can't we go all out attack? We've got nothing to lose. We're bottom. We lose most games. The only way these players will get confidence is through scoring and we're making it hard for ourselves. Take off the :censored:ing shackles. We've got to start winning games to stay up and we won't playing this way.
I understand, but can only think the manager doesn't think we are good enough.

I just watch the live ticker on Onefootball, the way I read it it could be el Classico.
-
Doubt these "punishments" really work. Human nature means that each player, especially the loanees, blames Oldham Athletic, the manager, the players around them and thinks that they are better than everyone else and will just get a contract elsewhere when they need it!
-
Suppose the context is important, brilliant in comparison to slaughtered turkeys - hell yes.
-
It's like watching a team of brainless sloths in treacle... Winchester and Croft did make a positive impact, but the managerial failings are that they still can't play an entire game of football. Professional footballers that can't play an entire game?
Why are the "strikers" called strikers if they don't strike? - or jump - or win a 50/50 or even a 75/25 in their favour. We don't really play to their strengths, although what they are no one knows.
Green is injured or past it and Banks, whilst he can pass the ball is thick with no tackling ability.
Clarke is decent, Ripley is decent, Flynn could be good if more central but can't be bothered on the wing.
Not sure how we are set up to attack if at all, full back leg it to the halfway line, realise that you're not allowed to go forward, pass it to a CB, over or underhit it long to inadequately sized forward, hope they don't score and repeat.
-
Green can't run or tackle.
Winchester can't tackle.
McLaughlin can't tackle.
Fane who can run and tackle wasn't selected
It a mystery as to why Fane wasn't picked....
Crazy

Our defence has been shaky at times this season - plus we didn't have our standard defensive pairing as Raggett is out for 3 games suspension. McCombe came in and is basically crocked, so the worry is that we don't have the strength in depth at the moment. We also didn't have a more dynamic midfielder in in Whitehouse, as he is cup tied.
I think as someone else said here, we weren't at full strength last night by a long chalk - half of the bench last night were scholars.
I wouldn't worry if I were you - hopefully the cameras will follow you to Ipswich and I hope you do well.
I would make our "footballers" all meet up to watch the game as well.
-
I wouldn't start Green, Banks, Reck(F)ord, Ladapo and I'd probably strangle Winchester. If I had to send only 5 down the pit.
We all knew the left wing was weak, crazy from the manager.
-
I'd sooner have Danny Rowe
He looks a player
