  1. I hope O'Grady is the Porter type, that'll surely answer our prayers.
  2. "Good Feeling about next Season" How many times have us Oldham fans said that!? No I think with the money from this season and what not, we MIGHT have a chance. Really the key player we need is a 'finisher'.
  3. Oh dear ... Ok in a nut shell ... Brilliant pitch invasion ... The pitch is in really bad condition .
  4. To be honest I thought the final whistle had gone when we scored the second. I was stood behind my mate and couldn't see a thing. Then all of a sudden everyone runs on ... Garlic Bread? I was a little confused seeing as I didn't hear the whistle. The stewards weren't happy though. I had some old guy talking to me about it was easier a few years back... "Mate no offence but I wanna get on the pitch". Eventually I got my place and after the whistle it was bloody brilliant. Just to note though, the Pitch is abit like Vietnam...
  5. Hang on I have that Tangerine/Blue scarf ... Anyway, no offence to the Paddock Army and true. I suppose saying stuff like the is as worse as wearing a Hudders shirt while sitting with the FYC! Thanks for the tips Mark and co. Plus this flag costs £60. We're a bunch of Teenagers who watch Latics EVERY Saturday. I asked the group to contribute a SMALL fee of £5 but I've only got £5 now and thats not even for the flag! If anyone would kindly donate to the C.E.W.E fund, im at the Sheepfoot lane end of the chaddy ;) Do you not think though (as we have decided on getting a Barmy Army flag) that it would be ok to have this ... (it's a pretty shockin' example) What do you guys think of that?
  6. It's a shame to see 'Boundary Park' go. It was the first ground I ever went to in 1998 (i'm quite young). I feel sorry for the Paddock Army though, real shame for them lads. Anyway I've only ever sat in the NSM once out of about 200+ games i've been watching through my life. The only times I sat in it was Oldham vs. Hudders Town - FA Cup 4th Round & Oldham vs. Hudders Town which we beat them 4-1. Not the best of stands but still Boundary Park is full of wierd and wonderful memories. I'm more of a Chaddy lad myself though. I've virtually always sat there but sometimes had the odd occasion in the Georgy against Stoke and Stockport. I've had some brilliant memories in the Chaddy though. I went when we lost a bitter 7-1 to Cardiff City and against Barnsley in 2003 were Oldham put 2 goals in, in the last 10 minutes when we came back from 2-1 to win 3-2. Well, farewell to the NSM (Lookers) I'll certainly miss it.
  7. Well were all mates in the group so ... Thanks though!
  8. Not much advice but hilarious. Can you here the Paddock sing? NO! NO! ... Does the Paddock sing? I've never seen them sing. Anway back to the point ... ADVICE and what not!
  9. Me and my friends have started off a Latics group. Chaddy End - West Enders aka CEWE. I've learnt (seen) that OASIS are an extremly popular Latics group and im calling out for fans to give me advise on what not to start a succesful group. Also I just want to get the group known. Here's just a little bit more about it ... "We are a group founded not long ago. We are located of the Sheepfoot Lane side of the Chadderton Road End (Chaddy End). Though we did later realise that when we are sitting in the Chaddy, we are actually in the East end so thats some stuff for you. We currently have x amount of members (sorry I don't know the exact number yet)" Also we are trying to get a flag for the chaddy (not a giant one). An suggestions on size and what not?
  10. I think would should have a proper patron saint (Why did we choose him anyway as our patron saint?). One that was English and achieved so much (Sorry Shez .. Irish). Makes me proud to be English though!
  11. Cheers lad! Our new group (C.E.W.E) need a flag
  12. I like the Paddock Army banner. How do you get custom banners and flags? I know the Latics shop sell mega flags though so if anyone's interested ...
  13. Please could anybody send me Boys in Blue and other songs? I do have some but they're not that good'a quality.
  14. The thoughts of others in that stand ... "Move the bloody thing, i've come to watch the match!" Stick to the Chaddy i'd say.
  15. Hang on a minute. Do you have a PS3 ... You have to have a bloody England shirt with it ... He wore it though. £1,000 on eBay tommorow ;)
  16. He's a bloody good player i'll tell ya' that! I used to be good mates with him until he moved to London. He's gonna be as good as his dad (Tony Philliskirk) one day. I do have a Yellow Latics shirt he wore if anyone is up for buying!
  17. You're right. Yorkshire puddles ;) I'll be making the trip to Scunthorpe, Huddersfield, Leeds (come on, lose!) .... More to come. Also for Crewe away i'll be wearing my old Yellow Latics shirt I got off Chelsea/Latics lad Danny Philliskirk (we used to be good mates).
  18. So how much would they be for U16's? I was hoping to cash in on one via the Boundary Blues. GET IN!
  19. What a performance he put in today. Top class! Not a striker could get past him (sorry Reuben and co...)
  20. I know but as I said all you see is 'Sheep, field, Bush...' and that goes on for an hour and a half! Shame the Keepmoat is hard to find. We were coming over a bridge in Doncaster (that leads on to the "Welcome to Doncaster" roundabout) and tryed looking the the floodlights. I though that the stadium had collapsed at first. Im pretty sure we'll do good next season. Get Rochdale and Stockport up, they'll be good derby's. Peterborough also, that'll be good. Leicester seem to be on the fall also Scunny and the U's so there be some more nice away games.
  21. Good on ya' lad To all the women i'm kidding! I usually go with my mate and his dad. Quite a boring journey. The most boring out of all league one is Doncaster. It's furthest away (yorkshire clubs) and to top it all of, all you ever see on the way though there is ... Sheep, Field, Wall, Sheep, Field, Wall etc ...
  22. I'd be happy just to get a good Latics attendance and a good atmosphere to be honest. The C.E.W.E. will be there (a group my and my mates formed) so we'll be singing!
  23. Latics Barmy Army Abroad ... Alot of my friends who are so called Latics fans said, " whats the point in going if were not going to win anything". I think thats disgraceful. I'll certainly be there. Not the Northampton game unfortunately but certainly Crewe. How long is it say from Oldham anyway?
  24. Thats... Thats the whole point of the thread mate I heard a rumour that fans will not be flocking in there usual numbers ...
