  1. For me, I'd have preferred to keep Eardley but that wasn't going to happen - and from what I've seen so far Holdsworth is a more than adequate replacement at right back with the bonus of being able to fill in at midfield (as could Eardley).

Worthington's case is far simpler. Head and shoulders better than Allott and the midfield 'destroyer' we've lacked for a long time.

The other stand out signing is Abbott, and I have high hopes for Furman and Purdie.

In fact the only signing I'm still unsure about is Parker.

Cant argue with abbot and furman . we'll see about pudie ,

  2. The next video just might have to be NC-17.

I'v just spent bout an hour reading through this thread and watching the videos , what an interesting story!

I saw your first vid but just thought it was a one off, cant wait for your second visit video,? Love the ofside rule vid, might try showing my girlfriend it, i'v been trying to explain that rule for years and finally a concept she might understand! Thankyou

  3. you are a complete and utter :ranting: do you go to any games or are you a highlights watcher?? this is the same guy who won us 2 pens in succsesive games !!! on par with eardley imo !!! if you have nothin constructive to say :censored: off!! and royle army dont get me started....

Alright keep ur g string on. I do go to all home games and some away. On par with eardly , thats a joke . And hes won us two penalties wooohoooo . Ok lets be constructive.....if we get rid of holdsworthless we will be a better side! I'm not singling him out but he is the worst of the crap we have. we will never get out of this division if we keep signing players like this. If you cant see this , then i'l give up!

  4. From the first time i saw this guy i just could not understand why penney had brought him in, The only reason i could think is that hes versatile and can play almost any position bar striker, only problem being hes terrible werever he plays , I know penney has signed some poor players this summer but this guy is the pick of the bunch. Does anyone feel the same?

  5. Not sure who against but there was a david eyers free kick wich was almost certainly at a crossing angle from the goal, but he suprized everyone and went for the near post , the keeper had no chance, what a ledgend.

Keegan Parkers free kick in freindly against boro this summer.

Chris taylors set piece free kick against millwall begining of last season , you could just here the moans when the crowd saw they were trying somthing diffrent, needless to say the soon turned to cheers when he banged it in.

craig davies 96th minute winner gainst tranmoore, best ever feeling at a latics game!

  6. Right, serious answer (within reason of course)

    - A bit of character, would like there to be something about the ground that makes it unique, something that away fans will remember and identify with latics ground. Please not just a standard carbon copy lego/toilet bowl stadium. Not too fussed about whether we go for 4 distinct stands or a bowl type stadium, as long as there is something about it that fans can identify with Latics

    - Room for future expansion (assuming the capacity is only going to be 12k)

    - Like prozac said, facilities that will generate £££ throughout the week that will make the club self sufficient

    - Decent matchday facilities for eating/drinking, then maybe more fans will go for their prematch bite to eat/pint inside the ground.

    - A wee bit more legroom than the chaddy/rre currently offers would also be nice, even dwarfs find the legroom in there lacking

If we can give more legroom it would also make the ground look bigger , like the jjb!

  7. If we got 200k plus for neal then we have got a good deal , I know there were people saying 500k but there is not a chance hes worth anywear near that, Very poor crosser even worse passer , left his possition open by geting forward and giving the ball away far too overated, (anyone remember the third goal away at stockport last season when he just gave up). Good deal, good ridence!

  8. LMFAO chav hooligans, nearly all footbal hooligans are some of the best dressed lads at football, wearing some of the best clothes and most expensive

P.S this is not me promoting hooligans or the promotion of violence or the threat of violence.

sorry buberry stone island lacoste . chavs.

  9. The police really didnt help , they were dragging people off at will. And those 2 girls? (girls is a compliment to them) giving it all swinging for people with their high heels, spitting and then getting off and telling the police that it was 2 lads on the train which resulted in the policing grabbing then !

Also they should have put an extra train on knowing the crowd this would have attracted

40£ your having a laugh

Yes the train was not short of idiots but those girls were really the trouble makers. Just :censored: stiring and acting the victim . Joke!

  10. I started the train thread about children being present and upset on the train back from manc as a result of chav hooligans , I can only imagine that one of the said hooligans has replied on the thread with unacceptable reading ,

its a shame the whole thread had to be deleted though as some good points were being made.
