is it me or has the link for these forums gone from the main site??

just thinking of getting a legends latics team going on fm10 and want to make it as honest as possible, anyone fancy giving their opinions on what the team of 1990 would come in at in terms of individual stats?

we'll never know, at least we would have a striker playing up front actually in form! me personally i'd like to have waited until we got another striker in before we let him go 50k or not, if we dont get anyone in we're looking doomed, how much will that cost us?!

you have to ask why would we get rid of a stiker (ogrady) without another lined up if our position with strikers is so bad, surely the long term affect of relegation will dwarf the short term income of the transfer?

here's a wacky idea, at the moment we all agree that one of the main issues is that the players lack any connection to the club and are probably waiting until next season when they leave and get another signing on fee, so as bad as we are playing and relegation looks on the cards, do we drop most of them and look into the reserves/youth, kids with abit of hunger! Now i know the team will be young and probably out muscled, but would we want a team that gives sweat and blood but goes down, or a team that goes for the most boring draws in the world and escapes relegation through the skin of their teeth?

evening pal, depends what you mean with "in the future" are we talking days/weeks/months, its not kicking of until next sat and we have 2 players who are on hols for a coupls of weeks so you have a couple of weeks grace if you could get it sorte that quick?

no probs pal, it still ideally is just for latics fans but i want it to be proper and i dont thinki it can through these forums, any how if you change your mind you know where we are, further more if you have any mates who are intested, point them in the right direction for us!!

right we're off and running, we've 4 players added at the moment, get this upto 10 (ideally want 22) and we can get the league going

i get what you're saying, but in order to fill the league up we may have some players who dont come on here as reguler and therefore may miss some threads for fixtures etc, only want people through facebook as i can get everyone on a mailing list, the problem with xbox league's is alot dissolve before they begin if you cant get some common rules in place and everyone in the same place (i've been in my fair share of league's and i'm amazed how many fall!!), so thats what i'm trying to do, like i said earlier i had to sign up to a site for the league i'm in and if i had the knowledge how to set one up, i'd be asking the same from you guys, the problem is i dont and that why i'm utalising what is out there i know it may be a pain for some but trust me, once up and running it will make sense

getting on facebook takes 2 mins, dont even have to give your real name, just need somewhere where i can get all the fixtures in and out, we may be getting players to fill up the league who are not on these boards, i hate facebook myself but its using their features thats helpful! i'm in another league at the moment seeing how things work and i had to register on their website so its the same really!

was originally thinking this but i dont know a way to loop everybody into any info that gets sent out, the reason through facebook is that you all get included in a bulletin type setup that i can update at once rather than potentially missing someone on here who isnt always on, just making sure no-one gets missed really?

Evening, The first part is now set up, anyone wishing to join the league please send a friend request on facebook following the link http://www.facebook.com/#/profile.php?ref=...mp;id=537056600, teams that available are all premier teams with chelsea and man u being replaced with rangers and celtic, when you send the request please add a personal message with 3 choices of teams and your gamertag, first come should get their top pick, i will then send you an invite into a group that will issue fixtures to be played for that week, you will also recieve an invite through xbox live asking you to join the league. Feel free to ask anyone you know who may be interested in joining as ideally i'm looking for a full house with 22 teams, if not i'll start it with what we get, as mentioned before I am looking to have a prize at the end of the season for the winner. Game on people!!
