It's fairly typical though, people are quick to critisise and make doom and gloom predictions, but when an opportunity comes along to go and put their concerns and critisisms to the club they can't be bothered.
Was just about to say the same thing!

There newsletters available for download off the site! Really interesting to see the different things going on and what not.

Worthington's a better player for me.
Totally agree. When the signings were being made, no-one was complaining at Allott leaving, with the likes of Worthy and Furman coming in!

Elaborate!
Double post, apologises! Feel free to delete this.
-
Elaborate!
I dont really think its need elaborating tbh.
-
Hope the press get all over it.
O deary me indeed.
-
I`m not for public slagging matches between owners/fans, but i think we do need to know what was said to Corney before anyone comments really!
-
The free-kick is made even worse by the fact it came from our own free-kick! Rueben played a silly ball the Gregan, who in turn gave the ball away (all this is in our own half!), they break and Reuben brings the attacker down. Lovely play lads!!
-
Really didnt think he was anything special tbh.
-
Am I the only one who didn't honestly think they were all that bad?
Read the posts before posting and you`ll see that no, your not the only one!
-
also on sky it said Bournemouth only had 3 subs on the bench, im not sure if that is true
Yes it is true. On saturday due to injuries/suspensions and there transfer embargo they could only name 3 or 4 subs, one being there assistant manager.
-
What were you expecting for a Tuesday night? Against a side who`d bring no more than 200. Lets get real, we were always going to struggle to get a decent gate tonight.
-
I still cant get my head over the stick he recieved after what 4, maybe 5 games? Weve a ton of new players aswell as a crippling injury situation. Sometimes things do not happen over-night and people need time! Which DP is proving to be the case. Lets hope our ever so fickle fans dont turn on him again if we happen to lose 3/4 in a row again.
-
Tbf they werent that dirty, the referee was just very soft and give a free-kick virtually everytime someone fell over, e.g Chris Taylor
There were a couple of tasty tackles, but theres a difference between "dirtiest team weve ever played" and just being a physical team!
-
4 is to young, wait until he`s 5 and then take him along somewhere. Oldham do soccer schools during the half terms at royton and crompton (5 and over though). Use that as a taster maybe and see if he enjoys it and then look at getting him into a team etc.

Brill wont last the season! I dont think I have seen the fans turn on someone so quickly. I think he probably :censored:s it everytime the other team has a free kick now as even if its unstoppable he is obviously going to get the blame. Not a great situation to be in, especially as he doesnt seem very good.
Totally agree. One goal out of the 3 on Friday was his fault, yet the abuse given to him was extraordinary, i couldnt believe what i was seeing/hearing! Oh, and before you say he could have done better for the third, get real! His position may have been alittle off, but there was no way he could have saved it!!
-
What a way to entise fans to BP fat arse tell everyone you prefer playing away from BP ... Its not the fans fault we have not won at home for 7 months and are getting a little restless
Abit restless? the abuse dished out to Brill on Friday was more than abit restless! I totally agree with Gregan, we are better off playing away at the minute. The way the fans are behaving i most definitely wouldnt want to play at home tbh (if i was a Latics player). Its not all the fans fault, but the hostile atmosphere towards the players/manager isnt exactly helping is it!? I mean, come on .. singing for John Sheridan is way, way out of order! 99% wanted him out last season, and now the mans name is being chanted o dear indeed. Yes, people will come back and say well there playing rubbish, we pay our £20 etcetc, but whilst the abuse and mass slagging off continues, it`ll only get worse!
-
Sounds like vocally the Latics fan did us proud today...but I've got to say, 279 ! Is that all ?? First league away game of the season you'd expect more than that...I know it's London which is a fair trek, but 279 is :censored:e. Hopefully it's not a sign of things to come, but I fear the team need to do really well this year if attendances, home and away, are to be even just about what you might say as erm...acceptable..It's actually an embarrassing following though,
Who cares about numbers, im guessing you`d rather have 2000 sitting in silence, than 279 singing there hearts out then? And lets not forget weve just played Carlisle away, and weve Millwall to come on Tuesday, in all hardly 3 trips that are just around the corner.

That was an awful penalty!

You'll have to speak up, I'm wearing a towel.
quality simpsons moment!

Ever heard of the term "day off"?
I`m not even going there. Like said most comments are tongue in cheek.

Anyone had any?
I bottled out of Reading, Norwich and Notts County to win their respective leagues in a singles, doubles and treble bet and opted for Lee Hughes top scorer in league 2 instead. Looking pretty promising already.
Got Norwich to win the league, along with M`Boro and Rotherham! Saw the Hughes bet and couldnt be bothered putting it on . What odds did you get for it mate? Think at the time i saw it, it was 6/1.

Bring back Stu!

I don't think anyone goes with the intention of booing, and I'd be amazed if anyone started booing from the first match.
I wouldnt!
Disgrace!

Woopy-dooo .. couldnt care less! We perform on the pitch, and claim 3 points, and people still have to find anything to moan about! unbelievable!
