19263 for the St. Valentines Massacre at home to West Ham in the League Cup semi final for home attendance... and biggest away following was the 32000 Latics ‘fans’ that made the trip to the Wembley final

Has a club of our stature ever set out such a grand plan for public consumption?
TTA did when they promised us Championship football... it went well

Blitz is looking for Corney...a fan has quoted saying on face ache.
I wouldn’t pay too much credence to something posted on the Latics Facebook group if I were you.

People moan there’s never anything coming out of the club.... something comes out of the club.... people still moan.

Im not sure even Darren Kelly got this much shit 2 games in
He didn’t play 1 up front against a pub team from the Cotswolds and then tell the fans to be more positive though.

Brilliant thing to do.... wrong game to do it.

huge turnover of staff.
So Simon Brooke was only in the role for 6 weeks or so??

Why wait till a winding up petition was issued to pay the tax bill? Why not pay it off before it escalated to this stage?
Very good news though, wouldn’t have liked that to be hanging over us going into a new season.
It’s standard business practice to not pay things until the very last minute, sadly this often leads to many small businesses to go under. It’s a very dangerous game to play doing this with the taxman though!
You know what they say, “death, taxes and Latics in League 1”... oh wait!

christ, this thread.
Seems to me he became disillusioned with football and took some time off. Bunn and Rhodes (especially Bunn) seem to know him well and I think that is why he’s come back because he wants to play for them. He’s been here for about a month now so obviously he’s got to know the team and the staff so the fact that they signed him speaks volumes in itself.
Hope he does well, seemed a handful when he played Preston. He’s never played at this level before and has vast experience in the Championship.
We know our options are limited and in the whole he seems a good signing in my eyes and I hope he does well.
I actually agree with all of this
-
If he’s motivated and fit then it’s a good signing. If not, as some else has posted, it’s another Michael Ricketts.

I’m a bit confused what’s going on with the lad. The club say he’s got an injury yet virtually everyday on social media he’s putting pictures and videos of himself at an outdoor fitness camp, and doing gym sessions. He seems to be moving fine in them

Excellent tribute... what about dropping the “Terraces” bit though and just calling it the Opinions4U - Latics Forum?

You do know it's the owner that's an evangelical vegan! It's not actually a condition of entrance
It’s a good job, otherwise the 1000 rag pudding eating Latics fans will all be sat outside

So “general sale” effectively means people who can get to Boundary Park......tried for 2.5 hours to get through on phone + no online sales available
Feckin usleless, home end it is then
I would imagine this is the safest game ever to go in the home end... unless they find out you are a meat eating Range Rover driver of course.

Certainly looks like Risdale!

Was decent against Forest I thought, perhaps could have done a little better for their first goal perhaps.
Generally speaking though he looked solid and steady unlike Placide who always seemed like a calamity waiting to happen.

Fair play to Forest fans. Doubt many clubs will match that following this year.
I was quite surprised how giddy they got at a late equaliser against a L2 side with 3 or 4 of their best players missing though

Like others I only knew O4U through OWTB and I too always enjoyed his well balanced insightful posts.
I would also like to echo the comments of others around his positivity in his fight against this dreadful illness, it was truly inspirational and I take my hat off to his bravery.
RIP Opinions4U and sincere condolences to family and friends.

Well he’s not French

I seriously worry about some of our support.
