Preston one up against Boredmuff.
Dowie reporting on managerless Preston.

I do think sometimes we are too Man United when on a cup run. Wheras we should be more Stalybridge Celtic.
Basically we tend to go a bit Billy big balls and should sort our fans at the turnstyle.
Where are the extra 4,000 who were at the game against Liverpool and who will come against Everton???
And those of you who bring them (and they won't turn up to league games) should be ashamed of yourselves!
Better to have 4000 empty seats or an extra 4000 Everton fans at BP?

Brown on GMR now,and he's interested
He's desperate.
BBC Radio Manchester giving their mates a soap box to push for the job. First Stitch then Brown

Spoof account. It's not SSN.
Pointed out above. Cheers

For me, the new man has to be someone who commands respect the moment he steps into the building. Someone who all the players will look up to straight away and want to be putting heart and spirit into their performances much in the same way we did against Liverpool.
I think Billy Davies would command that kind of aura. He'd be my first choice. I'd also think Nicky Banger would be a decent shout too, although not exactly fitting the profile above.
Avoid Phil Brown like the plague. Nearly always been an abject failure for me, despite his early success at Hull City.
Dowie (I know but...), Grayson or Coyle

Do you always spell sport with a double o?

BREAKING: #SSN understands Inverness Assistant Manager Maurice Malpas is favourite for the Oldham Atheltic vacancy. #OAFC

Dowie is a poss, chance to work with his mate Tony Philliskirk.
I am sure SC has already got someone in place, not enough time to hold lots of interviews.
I reckon something will be confirmed today.
Not sure Tony would be too happy.

If PD has gone or not, this feels very different from the last few managers. I really wanted Paul to come good. Feels brutal to say he can't carry on. I think he is too nice-a-bloke. disillusioned

Do you think the club is worried that home fan numbers may tail off for the EFC game?
I voted large section RRE for away fans

Won't the police bill just increase?
After he was elected, I seem to remember GM Police and Crime Commissioner said football clubs should shoulder more of the costs. Can he smell £££'s
Pick on the little guy first?

Winning means you're willing to go longer, work harder, and give more than anyone else.

It doesn't make me smile
I wish I could laugh
But that joke isn't funny anymore
It's too close to home
And it's too near the bone
More than you'll ever know ...

No. It was the end of November 2010. About 5 minutes after Evina gave us the lead at Spotland.
Will never forget the way we started the abandoned game at Spotland. We were devastating tempo-wise.

As usual, the people who go the extra mile get the grief and little appreciation or praise.
Fans sometimes overestimate the size/ resources of our club and underestimate the shear effort and commitment exacted by the few...
Thank you Gordon and Roy for your efforts and I hope Gordon has some allowances left for the rest of the month on your mobile contract!
Gordon did sound devastated and emotional at the end of the game yesterday. I felt for him.

That is the experience I have!! Clever post.

To me, Cisak looks to be in a massive sulk since he was recalled from Pompey. Body language is awful.
