So you process the payroll?
Can you tell us if Maouche really is on £4k a week?
No but been paid from them in the past - on time every time. Cant say ive seen Maouches contract but Fane was on 850 per week

Alan the Cameraman quit over the way others have been treated.
Luke, Natalie (Academy Administrator) and Paul the Groundsman all left. They certainly weren't sacked.
Steve Cross the kitman I don't know if he was sacked but he went to Bradford and is now at Rochdale.
To be honest if I wasn't paid on time the way staff haven't been paid on time over the last few years I wouldn't have lasted this long.
I think some of the recent staff turnover is an indictment of the current owner but it may also be an indictment of how poorly the club has been run for a number of years. With the exception of Alan, who is a volunteer, I think most of the above are hires in the Corney regime not even when it was all 3 of the landlords.
Non playing Staff were paid on time everytime under both the new and old regime

I very much doubt anyone could call the grass too green at the end of last season

Depends on what for...
I’ll have that. As with most things its anyones guess but a fresh start may not be such a bad thing for all, including those who have left

Groundsman, kitman, cameraman, academy administrator all gone in the last month or so.
Everyone mostly agrees that the club behind the scenes has been run terribly for years. Is it such a bad thing that those doing that running have been shown the door?

People involved in the game, who have followed his career, whose opinion I trust - not childhood friends - have told me he’s a good lad overall.
I don’t know him personally, just passing on what I’ve been told that goes against the bad egg theory somewhat.
Fair enough. But what do they see that Blackburn and Wigan didn’t and couldn’t wait to get rid?
I would love the loan Jack Byrne back in this team as I absolutely loved seeing him play but at the time I was laughing my cock off at several Wigan supporting mates at them letting such a player go and every single one said “wait and see”
there is obviously something wrong with the lad and its time to actually look at him rather than “the world is against Jack Byrne”

Nice Analogy
Obviously not comparing Jack to a tyrannical lunatic but the previous posters point of people who grew up with him saying hes great doesn’t carry much gravitas. Your mates will 9 times out of 10 back you even if youre the biggest bell going. Im sure we all know one

Sure, he’s had his problems, of his own making too.
But i I know people who have known Byrne from the time he started kicking a football. Claims he’s a “bad egg” are greatly exaggerated.
People who knew Hitler probably thought he was ok too

As if I needed proof just what a nasty shit hole this place has become

Pretty sure that you can easily judge whether there was malicious intent in a challenge
A referee failed to do so in the Watford Palace match this afternoon

Oh yes, was a real coup by the club signing these two instead of having to rely on dross like Michael Doughty, Ollie Palmer and James Norwood.
Perm any 2 from 3 and you have a return 5x more than COG and Miller.
For the record i stated that i thought COG may come good but thought Miller was finished, i will stand by that 5 games in, do you think they can score enough to launch us to the top of the league ?
Maybe it goes against popular owtb opinion but that is where we should be.
After 5 games we can pretty much see that this league is utter garbage,we should win promotion this season, no if's or but's, anything else will be a failure.
We don’t agree on most things (though we do on this league is utter dog shit) wasn’t actually aimed at you and i seriously doubt either will end up being the League 2 Aguerro and Kane but some absolutely wrote them off completely yet they’ve both contributed to 3 points in very few games

I do wonder how much piss is boiling after both Miller and O’Grady have actually scored

Novelty of League 2 worn off - that was absolutely shite

Yeah. But when some clown compares paying his domestic monthly bills and his weekly shop at Lidl or Iceland (I expect) to an owner coming in and sorting out the financial ruins of a ltd company, paying the debts and trying to get all bills (including dozens of salaries) on an a sound footing I’m afraid I get a little irritated.
Lidl or Iceland comment uncalled for and sort of throws any argument on the fire for you I'm afraid.
Archie doesn't exactly float my boat as I'm sure he knows but to try and insult him based on where he may or may not shop or what he has or hasn't achieved is a bit crass imo (and yes I've thrown insults before so no I'm not perfect)
not that Id be seen dead in either, I'm an Aldi man myself
Archie - paying Npower is different to running a business with a payroll (in the interest of balance)

Not sure what device you are using but not all are compatible with the app.
If you don't have a computer you can stream it through you may have to E-Mail them. In my experience, about 8 E-mails backwards and forwards eventually gets you a refund, I had to threaten to write to the Football league though (had no intention of doing and didn't for one minute think they'd do anything if I did but it worked)

Some changes for me.
Maouche for Coke
Lang for Nepo and put Branger back on the left
Baxter to feature
Been to Yeovil 3 times not going to make it a fourth when I can watch it from my computer for a tenner.
Yeovil have been hot&cold but we never seem to beat them so I wouldn't be too surprised at a defeat.
Still a lot of improvements for us to make ie decision making and communication. If you're paying a tenner i suggest you email that Josh fella at I follow since a match pass is a fiver (or 7 dollars)

Miller is finished everyone....

It cuts right through me. Thankfully they are back and still sound like they are broadcasting from Bucharest. I'd nipped for a pee but Roy's just said they missed the start. I know it doesn't really matter but it is a bloody laughable service, they need to stream two 50 minute blocks of audio, it isn't rocket surgery.
Don't get me wrong, I've nothing against Roy and Sam, or is it Mike? Sorry. They do a really good job with the tools they've got to work with
one of the worst services I've endured

Yup, I've got a bad back and not been able to make it. I think Joseph will be getting another email. I've signed in late but it looks like they might not have gotten to the bottom of the issues as it sounds like they are having to do the commentary over the phone.
It does lend it that lovely 1980s feel when they used to do radio and TV commentary from places like Red Star Belgrade over a crackly line rather than something that is being transmitted from Oldham, via a high speed network connection. I was having a shit day at work when I wrote my other email and it was a wonderful stress reliever, I've got another bad day lined up for Monday so can put 15 mins aside to mail Joseph.
I'm going to kick off even though I think all football commentary should be done with that late 70/80s telephone effect, make it sound like it matters.
That brain prolapse inducing music has just kicked in again pal
Jack Byrne ❤️

Youve clearly never worked in a small company - ffs everyone knows everything in that place (or did)
