  1. Be daring. Close the Chaddy end and pack the RRE !!

Here's a case for some sensible ticket pricing:

£12 for adults; £10 for season ticket holders (including Morecambe ones); £5 for concessions; free for kids.

Issue a voucher at the turnstile for £40 off the price of a season ticket (as we'll have already played a couple of home games by then).

    It's usually cheaper than that

  2. I think there's a case to argue for a few different players to play.

O'Grady and Hughes would have the presence to give Leeds' big centre halfs a battle, helped by Liddell's balls onto their heads, but then again, you may say why should we try and challenge them where they may be at their strongest? Maybe it would be better to focus on where they're more susceptible, and get at them with Smalley's pace and Lewis' trickery.

  3. My dad wasn't happy, as he was flattened by the guy to his right who was rushing to taunt the Millwall fans, and he doesn't like standing up too much.

So we moved over to L, weren't distracted from the game by everyone round us, and after being fairly unhappy about the goings-on earlier on, he was enjoying the atmosphere created to our left, laughing at the "Sit Dahn Shat Ap!", while still being able to focus on the game, and we had a great view, without having to stand up! :p

So while I think people need to help stop stuff being thrown between the 2 sets of fans, as well as calm down about the issue, it really is no bother at all to get up and move to the other side if you don't like it.

I suggest that stewards should be told to direct people over to the far right if they complain, and say they can get their season ticket swapped to a new position at the ticket office.

Also, I don't like people stereotyping the older fans as moaners who have less of a right to speak their mind as anyone else, be more understanding if you would please.

    =)

  4. "I take my hat off to Oldhams support last night, they more or less filled that stand and didnt stop singing, backed there team from start to finish, very impressive."

They're also extremely complimentary about our 1st half performance.

Cheer up everyone, it's never that bad!

  5. Unfortunatley this is what you get with Craig Davies.

He was banned from international football for 18 months for spitting at a ref iirc.

Wants his head sorting out if possible.

Don't crucify the lad over it though please, as silly as the incident was, he's still young and will learn from this.

  6. It doesn't matter how much I don't like Taylor (and to be fair to the lad he had a decent second half today) but I reckon he has already won goal of the season.

That was one hell of a well worked free kick.

Seriously though, he looks to have improved the 2 parts of his game which were most infuriating.

He switched between cutting in and going to his left often, and also seems to have learned how to cross (with both feet!). He caused Millwall all sorts of problems today, and that was even with double-marking him.

No doubt he was being watched today, I think we can brace ourselves for some tempting bids.

  7. It's funny, but we've seen some interesting things happen in this competition.

    BP's only(?) ever floodlight failure

    Vernon's dream debut

    Eyres from the halfway line

Kilkenny going past every player on the pitch, then passing it to Croft. Incredible.

A few penalty wins, and our only ever penalty defeat.

    Brian Talbot getting taken out.

Darren Sheridan's most ridiculously obvious red card ever.

    Rob Lee.
