We've had a 'goal' not given today... so it reopens this debate... should the FA introduce it next season?
-
Mate, I don't know how old you are... but I'm thinking by now she's not gonna be... well, in her prime shall we say!?
-
Talking of rest, where the hell does Chrissy Taylor get all his energy from? He was looking knackered a few games ago, now he is looking fully fit!
That's what fulfilling a boyhood fantasy does for you!

I'm impressed by the work thats gone into this, people have worked their ****es off to get this out there and I'm very impressed!

For the font files give www.freefonts.com a go.
I've never had problems with it, but as always when downloading I suggest you virus check them before you open the .zip file.
Then either do what Stevie says, or the way I do it is just to open the 'fonts' folder in control panel and drag and drop the file you've extracted from the .zip folder in to the fonts folder and it will install it for you (makes it easier if you've got loads of them at once than doing them one at a time).
Hope that helps mate, and keep up the good work on the vids!

Welcome to you both... if you need any help finding your way around then just ask... if you head over to the 'Welcome Area' its a great place to practice with the controls of this board and get to know people. Then once you're used to it head back down here and get stuck in with the chit-chat about the mighty 'tics!

LEAGUE supremo Brian Mawhinney has called for the play-off finals at the newly-completed Wembley.
Lord Mawhinney spoke out after contractors Multiplex handed over the keys to the new £757m, 90,000-seat stadium to the Football Association last Friday.
"It is beginning to look like we might be having the play-off finals at Wembley," he said.
"By the end of the month we hope to have the safety certificate from Brent, which is a key document.
"Historically, Wembley is the traditional, spiritual home of the game in this country and any fan wants to see his or her team play there.
"We managed to provide competitive games in a fine setting - the Millennium Stadium - while Wembley was unavailable.
"But everyone wants to go to Wembley."
The bid now rests on Brent Council, whom football chiefs are hoping will award a safety certificate following two 60,000-capacity test events.
The FA and Football League cannot grant permission for the play-off finals - due to take place on May 26-28 - to be played at Wembley until safety clearance is given.
If authorisation is not granted in time, all games will revert to Cardiff's Millennium Stadium.
Latics - currently fifth in League One - are still aiming for automatic promotion, and manager John Sheridan has said his side require "four or five wins" to be sure of a play-off berth.

Personally, I'm conflicted... but what do you think?

Before you ask, the film isn't available on DVD
Is this a home movie TN?

Quick way to do it is click on the name of a Mod or Admin (it tells you if they are one under their picture).... then click 'send message'.
Doesn't really matter who you choose as we are all in communication with each other anyway.
...see...

I was hoping to get one of the tangerine scarves, does anyone know if any more of these are being made?
I don't know - but I'm sure someone will be along who does.
how about car stickers? i would love to show who i support on our carGood idea Bob, I'll add this to the list of potentials... all have to be costed, see how much demand there is etc. as the OWTB (tragically) can't afford to do things unless they break even... Rummy is already down on his cash just to have the board up and running... so we'll look in to it.
Keep um coming folks!

I must say the logo is fantastic...

...one thing thats comes to mind when i see him, and it will only be found funny by any "serious" Simpsons fans...
As soon as I read that I knew exactly where you were going, and I'm still laughing.
One of the best Simpsons ever, especially the song at the end!

'ackers' and myself had this discussion t'other day.......
You know, I've not been called that by anyone since my PE teacher at school!
Anyway... if we made it I'd much rather go to Cardiff, as I've never been there, and there is plenty of time for us to make it to another Wembley final!
Having said that, would be great to player here, wouldn't it?

Probably the funniest sketch ever, especially when your 12!
Mate... close, but never... "Four Candles!"
-
Didn't know he had that in him!
Thats just how our luck is going right now isn't it!

words fail me
good night gentlemen... i'm off to sulk
-
Why not eh? Have to try something... Smalley is supposed to be nippy right? get him and Warne turning off Porter, see if we can't get it in behind them?
-
I think so... put Greegs up there and play Warne and Porter off him? Having said that Ports is a decent target and thats clearly not working!
-
GOD DAMN IT
-
Baggies 1-1 Boro
Have we settled in to the second half then?
-
In what way?
Player breaks with two defenders on him, about 30-35 yards out side foots it to the 'keepers right, not even a full dive needed, just a drop onto it... he didn't even move, no way his sight was blocked or anything... very strange!
-
Wellens gives the ball away, giving Blackpool chance to break. Pogs has to turn shot round the post. Midfielders 'strolling' back for the corner.
Are we a bit under it?
And sorry for moving this away from the 'tics again, but has anyone seen the Baggies goal? just been on BBC... very, very strange!!
-
cheers ackey may give that a go (with security measures to prevent any unfortunate frostbite :dizzy2: )
It is best to pop a pillow under the ice and a towell over it... stops one part - or one's parts - from getting too cold, and the other from getting wet!

Summer is a nightmare for my PC. I have to take the side off and aim a fan at it every time I have it on or the damn thing freaks out!
As for the over heating laptop, sit with a bag of ice on your lap, with the 'top on that - works, just have to avoid leakages!

How to…? Insert Images Into Your Posts!
First, you will need to know where the image is stored. And this will have to be on the Internet, it cannot be on you home PC.
But, if you have the image on you computer at home you will need to 'host' it on a site such as imageshack of photobucket.
They both have their own user guides to show you how to host your image, so I'm sure you'll pick it up… if anyone tries and gets stuck, then ask for some help in the Tech Forum or send me a PM and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
Ok, so if you now have your image online, you now need the 'URL' of that image.
If you have hosted it on one of the above sites it will show you the link under the image, which you can copy (select the text, right click the mouse and click 'copy').
If you now have the URL from one of the above sites then skip on to the 'on the forum' section below, if it's on another web site and you do not know how to get the URL then you need to do the following…
Internet Explorer Users
If you are attempting to show an image which is already on another website, then you need to open the web site that has that image on it, right click on the picture you want and click on the 'properties' option.
Then, once that window opens select all the text next to the "URL" heading, and again right click and this time select 'copy'
Once you have copied the text you can click 'OK' at the bottom of the window and move on to the 'on the forum' section below.
Firefox Users
If you are attempting to show an image which is already on another website, then you need to right click on the image, but this time click on the 'copy link location' option.
On the Forum
No matter which browser you have used, once you have the text URL copied for the image you want it is the same for everyone.
Open a reply or new post window on the forum and write whatever it is you want to write, then click where you want your picture to be (top, middle, bottom?) in your text.
Once you have selected where you want your image to go click on this button…
Then this window should appear…
Once it does delete the 'http://' text, then right click and select 'paste'.
You should now see the URL for the image you wanted to insert. Click 'OK'
Now, in your text you should see something which looks like the following, but has the URL which you copied from one of the other websites
Job done.
Finish your post with whatever text you still want to add, or any other images you wish, using the same method, and click 'post' to finish just as normal.
All done.
Hopefully this helps, and if you have any questions please feel free to ask me through the PM's or in the Tech Forum, where you will also be able to get help from the other site Mod's such as Stevie and Rummy.
