  1. FFS he only lasted 10 Mins what do you expect him to do when he has been out for most of the season. He will more than likely be out for the remained of this season now as well.

Would never have played today if Ruben hadn't been sent off last week, he clearly wasn't ready to return with a full game.

The club need to take a serious look at how these injury's are happening and what they should change to help them occuring.

I agree. I think that is the last time he has played for us too.

  2. Very bad mistake. I sit in the lookers and im sure i wasn't the only one who could see a goal when you saw the positioning. Shame really as he seemed to do some good throws out, but was a bit rash with his kicking at the last minute being closed down by their striker!

MOTM for me was Gary Mac.

  3. Shez has dropped some clangers this season, i just hope he learns from his mistakes next season

true, many fans in lookers upper and main stand upper need being told, but as a season ticket holder this season I feel ripped off, and if id have paid £20 to watch that today i would be disgusted.

whether you are a shez inner or a shez outer (for the record i am a shez inner at the mo), if moore or talbot would have made the same mistakes as shez ppl would be going ballistic.

Either way, I think the club are going to have the shock of their lives next season re the season ticket sales.

Without a doubt. If it was moore/talbot their head would be called upon and i do feel sorry for those fans who forked out to pay on the gate today!

  4. I think liddell has been a great player for us but i think that will end at the end of the season.

I think he will be offered a new contract, but on significantly lower wages than the chunk he uses up now (because of his injury record) and decline to look for better money. I hope i am wrong however and he does stay for another season.

  5. just watched lw n shez has said he doesn't think he will be bringing in new players this season now n we will basically have to do with the squad we have which got me thinking who will he be letting go n who will he be trying to bring in any opinions?

Well im quite optimistic for a latics fan (and thats saying somat!! ) and I just dont think the season should be written off with 8 games to go.

I personally think Easter Weekend will show some twists and turns with those teams there and thereabouts.

  6. I'm sorry but if you think that an England goalkeeper or Tomasz Kuszczak would come and play in League One you are ever so slightly deluded. Your point about being better prepared is correct, but to expect us to bring in someone of that calibre is astonishing. If we did then they would be number one, never mind an emergency back-up!

I agree. I even thought we had no chance anyway with sodding kasper!!

As you said, we'd have a number 1 goalie instead.

  7. Crossley, Pogliacomi, Gregan, Livermore, Allott, Liddell, Alessandra, Davies, Hughes - Thompson (bench yesterday), Jarret (played for 33 minutes), PLUS Kilkenny, Bertrand - an injury list to rival most I think.

So where was Lewis yesterday? How long is Allot out for? And when will Hughes and Davies return? Anyone know?

It may be too late for the play-offs I feel but it would be good to get some of them back and playing before the end of the season huh?

Definietly a big ask. Needs more rethink of the training methods we have used and how to potentially alter this for future situations to reduce the level of injuries.

    Bring back John Harbin!

  8. First chance i've got to watch them tomorrow.

For anyone stuck with anything to do on sunday. Dale are doing a special in the WMG. Adults £10, Kids £3.

Guess i'll only need to take a fiver with me. :tongue1:

Good 4-1 win for them todays against accrington. If they win their games in hand they are still in with a good shout!

Similar to us when looking attheir away record compared to their home record.

  9. I think with our squad so paper-thin we'd be foolish not to sign a player with the quality of Murray, even if its only until the end of the season to prove his fitness and get us out of a hole.

Though there is the unwritten rule that players who come back to a club are rubbish the second time...

    Keep the Faith

As much as i like murray, i would rather the money went to a striker or goalie.
