  1. Been saying this for a while, Wolfy's not making the impact he needs to off the bench - the boy needs a run out on loan somewhere. Ship him out for a couple of months and give Lewis a go from the bench.

Even if he does nothing, it's still as good as we've got at the moment.

    Agreed mate.

  2. SHEZZA RULES :censored: OFF YA MISERABLE :censored:

We have to remember sheridan is still in his 2nd full season as manager and i for one do think he will turn it round. I understand he only wants the right player to come to our club and all that but regarding strikers and scoring goals i don't think we're really in a position to be picky of our options.

Load of tosh i think, but any views ? (may explain complete lack of transfers)

    Wikipedia says Sheridan for Eire!

    League One Oldham Athletic

We all know anyone can contribute to Wikipedia.

Search John Sheridan ... it currently says:

"On the 18th of January 2008, Sheridan will become the new Republic of Ireland manager. He will take charge of Oldham's league game against Yeovil, which will be last match as Oldham manager."

Think its a load of crap mate. Also surely it would have actually been officially announced on the 18th, which was yesterday

  4. Good performance today which should have result in a 1-0 win....totally dicked at the end by a very poor side....

We need to start putting games out of doubt...it will come....another game un defeated and we go marching on....

Just hope shez can lift there heads....they looked gutted at the end and rightly so....didnt deserve to lose that....

Agree mate, for large parts of the game we were the better side, but we had more than our fair share of chances to finish the game.

Would be wrong to say i didnt think they would score with that corner at the end as thats just the way our luck is going at home.

Anyways onwards and upwards for Yeovil!

  5. Don't be silly, he doesn't need to go at all. He just needs to buck his ideas up, get that chip off his shoulder play for the team and I'm sure the goals will come again, he's managed 10 so far and that was before this barren run!

No i don't think he needs to go. As much as the chances he could have created, showing him the door aint the option.

Davies on his day can be excellent, it's just improving his consistency and attitude.

  6. It seems almost as though Davies and Hughes are competing too much with each other to get the limelight, which is good for competition but can be damaging. As said further up, greediness in a striker can only be good, but when appropriate. On more than one occasion Davies could have set up lee hughes to score so being too greedy can effect the team.

I think to an extent, Davies' attitude when being subbed up summed it up just walking in to get changed rather than watching the rest of the game.
