  1. I've heard they are not in the click and not fancied/liked by Dunn. One thing they all have in common is they are young and easy targets, where any of them playing that bad that they deserved to be frozen out of the first team? Its not like we have been tearing up trees since Dunn got the gig so its a difficult one to understand, we were told every player had a clean slate once Dunn took us in to this new era, apparently thats not the case.[/quote

Winchester has been poor but is still on the bench, Mills is injured, Coleman's a very young lad and was probably given a rest, Truelove is always injured and Turner needed games.

Will you please stop with this level headed reasoning, we were nearly full throttle into a paranoid delusional conspiracy there. Spoilsport.

    Woof.

  2. Bit o/t buy I was at the Donny Southend game last night and I honestly can't explain how bad it was. I know a few people are a bit worried about us for various reasons but let me tell you now there is some diabolically :censored: football being played in this division. Donny were so bad it was genuinely laugh out loud at times.

Made me confident we can do something this season continuing with 3 points against the Shrews.

  3. Admittedly I'm no retail expert myself, but Sports Direct sell Nike, Adidas stuff in their stores currently. So wouldn't they still be able to sell an Nike or Adidas Latics shirt in there? I can see that the margain they would get wouldn't be the same, as they wouldn't be the manufacturer, but this could be offset by the extra shirt sales it would generate in their stores.

Haven't you been listening Ghost? The club saves a few quid at the front end serving up Sondico rubbish. You're just a fan, you're only the lifeblood of the club, no-one cares what you want, now here's a patchwork of kitchen roll dyed blue. Piss off and remember to smile.

  4. Biggest factor in selling more shirts will be success on the pitch

Not true. Like I said my local team is Accy Stanley and I remember when they released their Nike kits and no-one could believe Stanley had kits made by Nike, everyone was buying shirts for the novelty factor.

I'm telling you, having these tinpot companies making our shirts is quintessential short-termism. I bet it saves the club next to nothing.

  5. If we had a decent kit supplier I'd buy a shirt for holidays etc and definitely polo shirts, t shirts, shorts etc for milling around at home and out and about running errands. I'm not doing any of that with Sondico emblazoned all over me, call me shallow I honest to god couldn't give a :censored:. And if this is true for me then it will be true for plenty of other Tics. More people buying merchandise, the greater the profile of the club is which in turn leads to extra revenue from all sorts of sources.

But no, you're right, save a couple of grand at the front end and serve up some tacky :censored:e no-one wants to wear.

  6. How the :censored: can Halifax have Adidas and we get palmed off with :censored:ty quality Sondico!

This. I'm absolutely :censored:ing sick to death of these cheapo kits. If it makes that much financial sense to have some sondico/carbrini/sparta/carlotti bog roll top then why the sweet :censored: are Halifax swaggering around in Adidas? My local team is Accrington Stanley and even they've had their kits made by Nike recently.

Remember it's not just the kits, it's all the training gear which looks miles better when it's quality Adidas or Nike gear than the jumble sale, sweat shop rubbish we get served up.

    Grrrrrrr.

  7. Hopefully Lancashire Police have forgotten about all the trouble last time we played them early in the season in the sunshine. It was pandemonium

96/97 season? When Bloomfield Road was a corrugated iron death trap, we drew 2-2 and there were fecking thousands of Tics there. Kicked off big time in the Blackpool end with loads of Latics in there, believe it got a bit tasty on the sea front afterwards as well. We always seemed to play them on a Tuesday night after that.

    Woof.
