  1. I am on here asking for a huge favour for anyone who has some spare money during these hard financial times.

On Sunday I will be setting off to Scotland to take part in a sponsored walk from Glasgow to Fort Williams over 5 days to raise money for The Christies cancer unit. The walk will be between 16 miles a day to 24 miles a day for 5 days. Last year the club I coach at (Chadderton Park FC) lost an amazing man called Steve Lynch to cancer after a long fight, anyone in the area involved in kids and girls football will know the great lengths Steve went to for kids football for all, he was a truly amazing man.

I have put a lot of effort in getting ready for this walk, mainly by losing two and a half stone in 4 months so my knees and glass ankles can handle it. Now I am hoping people will give me one last push to sponsor me. Even if its a pound it's a pound which will be hugely appreciated. If anyone is in a position to give a larger amount I will be forever grateful. I hate asking people for money as I know how skint people are but this is a cause very close to me. Even if you can't afford any money, just promoting it to work colleagues or friends may just generate a little bit more.

To donate please either go to https://www.justgiving.com/Chaddy-the-owl/

Or you can message me on here with donation amounts, I'm happy to come collect it once I've finished it.

Any messages of encouragement will be appreciated too as I will be on here during the evenings while I'm soaking my feet and crying :)

    Thanks in advance

  2. Go on, who brought that idiot with them in the lower right hand side of the paddock today who looked like he was gonna have heart failure from getting too worked up at me? He was having a proper girly hissy fit because I was having a laugh with Fon Williams at half time in the net. Apparently I was disrespectful because I scored past him, even though the keeper himself was laughing with me.

If a giant owl winds you up mate you seriously need to think of something else to do on a Saturday afternoon :)

  3. Not sure, saw it last night there was no picture and very few other Tweets but it said Lee Croft didn't racially abuse me it's just rumours #oafc. What's strange is how the United players reacted, someone said he was told by a player he heard Croft call him a n***** well if an Oldham player ever hears a player call a ballboy a racist slur at BP I expect them to defend him.

Also going off the tv shots, the fans didn't react like a 14 year old just suffered racist abuse and niether did the kid to be fair. Also claims of him being pushed by Croft are clearly 100% lies, when he is proven to be innocent I want Latics to take action against United for poor stewarding that allowed a fan to be in a position where he could have attacked a player, I hope Croft consults his lawyers about slander and when they come to BP were batter them on the pitch.

Does the same apply if they hear me abused for the colour of my feathers? I once got called an "Effin brown B'Stard" by an opposition player. lol

  4. It didn't "go".

I wasn't in the right frame of mind to do it so I asked the club to get someone to cover it. I found out at 10pm that they didn't bother and they didn't think to let me know. Made me look a right let down, but it's not the first time it's happened.

Final nail in the coffin as far as I'm concerned, I'm sure they will sort someone else soon enough. And good luck to whoever takes on the wings.

  5. I went with the missus and the two boys (limpetlad & nobby.com), overall a really nice night.

Good food, very good entertainment, the magician as brilliant, Tonks couldn't believe his eyes and Venn was Venn (still good at his age).

I had my picture taken with 2x giants M'Voto (we sponsor him) and Tonks.

I asked Tonks the question "would he be at Latics next year and his reply was, it was was upto Dicky".

One of the highlights of the night was Dicky and Barry in an auction frenzy for a a 5x day holiday in the UK, Dickov won @ £425.00.

The Kieran Lee show for the awards, the only thing I found worrying was when Broady interviewed Kieran he asked him about the future and Kieran's reply was I'm always trying to better myself???????????????????????????????????

No Kuqi with no mention of him although his name did appear on some of the nominations and Taylor got bladdered, nough said.

    Regards

    Ian G.

It wasn't Barry that was bidding on the holiday, it was me and Dickov, I went to £400 and he won at £425. Lesson I learnt was never to try and outbid a millionaire. But to be fair, that place was worth double that, it's a stunning place.

  6. Just got back from the ride and fly trip. Got to doff my cap to all involved for the effort they put in.

Riding 58 miles across the peak district in horizontal rain and winds of at least 30 or 40mph. At one point they had to ride up a very steep hill non stop for about 7 miles. The bike ride started at 10:30 and ended at 18:30 on Sunday.

Just a shame the sky dive got postponed due to strong winds. They were all gutted.

Have to say as well, Dux, Taggart, Butler and Gerrard had me in stitches all weekend, no wonder footballers miss the banter when they retire.

Well done all involved, and lots of money raised already.
