  1. Is that the last guy? I've met the one who did it a few years ago, he married the female mascot in real life, very weird situation as they even had an engagement ring for the female mascot. I got an invite to their wedding.

Feel free to say hello from me, I have no enemies inthe mascot world, apart from Moonchester and Lofty lion. Both a right pair of .....(insert your own swear word here)

  2. I am amazed at the very generous offers that have sent to me by many people on here.

Although the coliseum would probably do a great job im not sure they could compete with the work that Angela does, she has premiership clubs contacting her for work and her costumes last for a very long time.

Ive got lots of appearances coming up and i want to look my best for them.....including a wedding for someone on here :)

Opinions4u, yes i did see the post, ive contacted him.

Leeslover, you swore you would never tell anyone about our "agreement". lol

  3. The woman doing it is called Angela Hallam and she is known as the "mascot doctor", she is extremely good. She did a pair of hands for me a few years ago for £20, rainbow wanted £150. She is very well respected for her quality.

I could charge for the appearances but most of them are for charities and schools who are already scrapping buy on next to nothing.

  4. I've had a couple if sponsors over the years. B&Q, cable comms, pentagon. I think they were fairly expensive (a few grand). A new sponsor would be a good idea but as I say its down to the club to sort it.

The cost is going to be around the £200 mark at least and that's through a woman I know doing it cheap. The company we normally use would want at least £750.

  5. I already do tons of FOC appearances.

It won't be possible to repair the suit due to the nature of the damage.

There is no sponsor for Chaddy and I can't see it being sorted, even so, that would have to be dealt with by the club and I can't see any of that money going on something like this.

    "run a marathon".....bugger off, I want s new suit not a new heart :)

I like the bucket collection but I won't be at the Swindon game due to a prior engagement.

  6. I'm after some ideas on how to raise a few hundred quid for Chaddy to be fixed. Years of diving round like a loony have taken there toll and it is now falling to pieces.

Obviously no money in the club for stuff like this so it down to me to sort it and I'm not sure I can convince the wife to let me take the money out of the account.

Any genius' out there that are overdue a "lightbulb moment"?

  7. So even though they say by not paying it the fee will increase cos of admin and bla bla bla I just ignore it and there is nothing they can do even though i overstayed the 3hr limit and they have evidence?! This is the company btw btw http://www.parkingeye.co.uk/contact.html

This would just be spiffing news......

I was actually involved in the design and manufacture of the units for parking eye. I can let you into a little secret into how to "shut down" the unit once it catches you. All you have to do is........

SMASH IT TO F*@$ING PIECES WITH A MASSIVE HAMMER.

On a more serious note, just dont pay them, thats what they did with us when we sent them the invoices for the work. Complete crap company run by a first class cockerel1.jpg

  8. not seen the highlights so only going off what i can remember, Thought he stood still for Chaplows goal and Waved Barnard through for his. Was also concerned with his effort for the disallowed one for Chamberlain(?) where he went down like a coffin lid, His panicky distribution didn't help us imo. However this is not having a go at him(god knows other s had shockers as well) More that after Saturday I thought we had a good un but am now concerned. his bollock for the second one obviously rattled him for the rest of the match. Let's hope he can recover on saturday.

Totaly agree with all you said there apart from the distribution comment. Ive not seen a keeper with such good distribution at BP for a long time. Always looks for the easy roll out but when the full backs run off up the wing flapping their arms like inflatable welcome balloon men at a cheap car sales pitch he has no choice but to go long. But rather than "hoofing" it anywhere he found the desired man 9 times out of 10. That was the only positive for me out of last nights game.

  9. Crazy pirate

Gotta say, as much as i look up to Bladie as one of the longest standing mascots, i dont agree with him sticking up for the mental duck. You shout abuse at opposition players you have to face the concequences as some of them are soft gits with no sense of humour. Not all mascots are clever enough to get away with it by pretending it was someone else.

I can see some of the pirates gold being taken in the form of a fine though.

  10. Second half in the chaddy end yesterday i had a complete "cap end" sat behind me. :ranting:

He started a chant of "Say no to Failsworth" at which point his mate obviously misheard him and starting singing "lets all go to Failsworth" which he then joined in with. Within 5 minutes he was singing about not going to failsworth again. I think he is the same guy who did the voice on my sat nav as that ever knows where it wants to go.

He constantly slated Brill for coming off his line, then within 10 minutes was winging that he was stuck to his line. Unfookinbeleiveable :clown:
