I believe that. He's complete crap and probably ranks as one of the worse players I've seen wear our shirt. The guy has nothing going for him except a short burst of pace.
get your boots on then, then we can slag you off on here.to say he's only got a short burst of pace going for him is a tad unfair.

I'm not bothered about being mocked by United and City fans. I am more irked by being talked down to by fans of the likes of Burnley, Preston, Bolton-and even Blackpool now.
yeah know what you mean, they are all minnows of the football world with no history at all.

Not related to our draw today really, but I was thinking about it during our match, as old Seany boy was winning all of his headers.
I've never once seen him threaten the opposition's goal when we've had a corner (or at least from what I can remember), and very rarely when we have a free-kick. I've noticed Hazell is the target we aim at when we have our set-pieces, but, if little else in some people's eyes, one of Gregan's main attributes we credit him with is the ability to win the ball in the air. Just thought he'd prove a little more dangerous in the box...
I guess it does sorta relate today really, as we seemed to use set-pieces as our main source of attack. Playing as we do on the road, we do really need to be more dangerous from corners and free-kicks.
see where you're coming from but gregans defensive headers are usually from balls that are coming down with snow on em rather than the type of delivery you get with corners.

It's not my personal opinion it's how society works.
I can tell you now, if Latics ever get a large Asian support, they will loose a large number of White supporters.
It's like if an Asian's ever move on your street, you know that your house price will drop greatly because other White people will be put off moving in.
I'm not agreeing to these points just stating them.
what if these 'so called people' needed a life saving operation and the only surgeon available happened to be asian are you sugesting they would say "no thanks i'll wait for a white one if thats all the same".very shallow, very shallow.
-
I guess that depends on what you define as "their own". For you it's clearly all about skin colour, for others in NI it's about being catholic or protestant, in otherplaces people find other things to try to determine that someone esle does not fit in with what they want. I'd class my "own" as people who want to treat others with decency regardless of any skin colour / religion / place of birth.
You clearly would rather sit next to a white burglar than an asian policeman, judging by your post.
However, at latics for me it's about supporting latics.
spot on real,spot on.

At least Torres wore an armband.
E4e
FERNO
what about "the shirt he wears says hes a blue"
-
Vampires, apparently.
wouldnt go down well with our keeper a move to there,he doesnt like crosses either
-
While of course its their right, I think its pretty pathetic for people to say they would stop following the club if they changed the name. Many clubs have changed or altered their club name over the years and to me its not a problem as longs as Oldham is the prefix.
Maybe as a mark of respect to Failsworth we should become Oldham Dynamo? ....But then maybe not.
My car number plate (OL04HAM) wont be affected. I dont care if they are called Inter Real Oldham and Failworth Dynamo Athletic North End. I know they are my Athletic and, whatever is decided, I will continue lemming like to follow the blues
Hmmm as Failwoth is just as you have just come into Oldham then maybe thats it!!!! INTER OLDHAM
think most people would prefer,"outer oldham"

far from exotic but seen some one wearing an old latics sports jacket down cheethamhill road and seen a latics shirt in the cowfields area of nantwich

Something of a review from tonights game:
bit biased really, any guesses on the hungarian?
-
Yeah but lets wait and see Lay off him in the stands or he will be finished at BP before he starts!
who is the keepers coach?by the sounds of it he's going to earn his money
-
Simon, you are mad as a box of frogs.
funny or strange how people see the same game in stark contrasts to one another
-
Not really...but I reckon the area will change with the ground being built there. No doubt a local pub will become an unoffical Latics place and be just fine.
I also guess that there will be some sort of boozing to be done at the stadium, maybe in new build or the existing old building?
cheers jetman.
-
While time for another poll.
Not sure why I am always the first..
Is the new stadium location going to affect your matchday experience?
EDIT Not sure why my poll is not working?
might be something to do with being a geek, poll for this poll for that, christ who gives a fook anyway.

True, I agree.
I was just saying I have never, ever seen anyone list a Failswoth address as Failsworth, Oldham.
I don't care about this by the way, really I don't, it was just an insider (as in a local) comment.
Anyway, how many on here are from Failsworth? We need to make sure we do our bit when other locals start moaning about the plans.
any decent boozers near the new ground jetman?
-
I haven't been on this board for ages. Now i remeber why. What a bunch of moaning aresholes.Oh dear, the new ground is another 3-4 miles away. So what. Oh dear, it has a Manchester postcode. WHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTTT. Rochdale and half of Tameside have an Oldham postcode. It doesn't matter. Get a grip you sad knobheads. It's a very few miles down the road. For goodness sake. I have a 220 mile round trip. You sad people. Get a life. This isn't a franchise deal taking us to a crappy new town in the midlands. We ARE a part of a large connurabtion, and we have been for 150 years. Boundary Park is a :censored:hole. Get over yourselves - 'oh, Manchester postcode, oh, another three miles on my journey.' Sad, petty people. Arghhhhhhhhhhhh.
Oh, and gien that during our glory years our average was, what, 15,000 at best, i really don't think spending money on something bigger at this stage is a problem. it will obviously make it affordable, at this stage.
Then again, it's on another 4 miles to :censored:lands, so if we start to get big gates which some people seem to have deluded themselves will actually happen we can always ground share!!!
I'm off for another year.
here,here.

And who are you to argue with the neutral opinion of Ronald Moore????
not arguing mate just asking a question thats all, jesus.the same ronnie moore that gets ridiculed at every opportunity on here and when we played the trannies,he must be a football genius then.

1) Someone who bullies, in a very genuine and immediate way, opposition players.
2) Amongst the best ball players we have had at the club in the last decade.
3) Experienced at gaining promotion through two divisions
4) Captain whilst above
5) Regular MOM over recent seasons
6) Has genuine desire to achieve and fight for the team
Could you name A N Other who you want us to sign so that we can go after this better option who we could get for a reasonable wage? Because until you do, we are stuck with the guy who many neutral observers seem to think is top class.
who are these neutral observers you talk about, the way i see it you either rate him or dont rate him.

Gregan has been in a "Boot camp" and has apparently lost 1/2 a stone.
Cheers,
Harry
maybe if he loses another stone and a half he might be able to run.
-
The ground is in the middle of Hull's red light district..........maybe??
it used to be the largest city in europe who's team had never played top flight football.
-
well come on then whos well impressed.... come on tell me im interested you all slate me but id like to ask people if they think these two latest career men are great signings that will take us places
who knows,we'd all like well known players to play for us but in all honesty we all know that aint going to happen, can you tell me that any of the scunthorpe players where well known,i'd take a guess at no but when their manager assembled the squad and got em playing as a team and for each other the results were there for all to see.we have to cut our cloth accordingly.ktf.
-
great work dave carry on with your top signings!!
another lad with a great career loaned from chester to droylsden and at some random club now bodes well as does jacobson you are impressing me a lot i must credit you
tiresome, very tiresome dean.have you heard of the motto we use,"keep the faith"

Irwin was going to be my suggestion, but I realised that Pete has added a sneaky little caveat in there: at the time.
£625k probably wasn't considered unreasonable at the time; it's only with hindsight that we realise we were mugged.

The second game I go to next season will be my 700th first-team only competitive Latics match, not including friendlies, ressies, yoofs etc...
