  1. Taylor ordinary ? maybe for Real Madrid or someone like that.

come on lordy,do you remember taylors first cross on sat it was embarrassing but no ones been on here and slated the lad about it(quite rightly too) but as soon as eardley makes a mistake all the eardley haters are out sharpening their knives.no wonder some of the players prefer or enjoy playing away from bp,form is temporary remember gregan after his loan spell had finished and we signed him up, his performances dipped dramatically and no one could say a bad word about him without gettin slated on here.i'm going to stick my neck out here and say eardley will go further than the championship before his career is over, ktf

  2. Yes, but the problem is football has evolved into a non-competitive sport due to the money and is much the worse off for it. I personally cannot wait for the day it implodes taking dozens of clubs with it (if we are one, so be it, as we are going to go that way anyway otherwise).

Back onto a non-vitriolic topic anyway. We were asked why we watch football/Oldham a while ago. I stand by my "it's a reason to get pissed in places other than your local" comment I made then. As for the football itself - it's the same as for the past 15 or so years, :censored:e interspersed with slightly less :censored:e.

feel sorry for you then mate if thats your view on footy, tell me,are you one of the sad lonely feckers who don't like christmas aswell.i normally end with ktf but don't think it applies to you, merry xmas.

  3. Yep, I appreciate that you are a footballing genius  you'll also be telling me how good he is next ^_^

so he was :censored: last season was he? he must of been doing something right to have scouts from the prem watching him, people forget he's still learning his trade but some on here are just waiting for him to make a mistake and say "told you so".ktf.

  4. i think there are far too many fans thinking like that at the moment....

i can honestly see that if we do miss out on promotion again this season, that next season a lot more people wont bother renewing season tickets.

thats it lets give up on the team until we get promoted and then we can all jump on the band wagon just like some did in the late 80's early 90's.can some one tell me what was the point in people going round with collection buckets a few years ago and what was the point of the march from the civic centre?get behind the team who ever wears the shirt or piss off and watch man u in pub with your mates, ffs we are 6th in the league not in a relegation dog fight, whats wrong with you lot friggin moaning every week on here.ps this is not a rant at you ed.what is our motto again....thats it "keep the faith".rant over.ktf.

  5. Is it not a worry Fleming has given away 2 penalties? Both were contraversial I know but it is still 2 in 2 games

the one last week was a good save, the ref got that one wrong, atleast he can come off his line and he seems to read the danger well,i'd keep him in when crossley regains his fitness.

  6. What I was thinking yesterday was that we should be actually tryingto get people in on the attractive match days, not the ones that are likely to be rubbish. Surely the idea is to show people anenjoyable day, whereas we look to promote the games that people would more likely decide not to bother with - ie against low down sides when the weather is grim and you've got other things to do. It's not like we are selling out at the games earlier in the season when the sun occasionally shines, why not try to hook people in then?

not a bad idea, lets face it,who on here would come back to watch our next home game if that was their first time at bp yesterday, not many i think.ktf.

  7. thats more like it.

Sounds like people on here will be very suprised when Stockport fill the allocation (well maybe not fill, but there will be 2000 there at least), I just hope we are prepared and drown them out. Hate to break it to people but at the minute they have better attendances than us, although they are on the cress of a wave

lettuce all get behind the lads tomorrow and drown the hatters out.

  8. I saw it clearly from the front of the Chaddy, but I couldn't lip read. He gave me the impression that he was expressing some disgust.

During the game, when he and Hughesy were going for the ball in the area and it went for a goal kick, Kuipers brought Hughesy down after the ball had gone out of play. Hughesy ended up in a heap off the pitch after colliding with the adverts. The ref miissed the incident and I ran to the front to draw the ref's attention to what had happened. The ref came and got Hughesy to his feet and took no action against Kuipers, who was booed from then on every time he had the ball. As I was returning to my seat a kid of about 12 shouted at Kuipers "f*****g n****r".

Kuipers' reaction at the end of the game may have been because he heard this racial abuse from that kid.

not surprised you saw it clearly, there was no-one in the chaddy hardly, and once you got the refs attention was you planning to get him to book or send the keeper off,and did you try and get a stewerds attention over the racist comment, finally the keeper said"jez, them lads in the rre can make some noise, but your singin is f**kin :censored:e.ktf.

  9. Good luck to the guy, but he isn't going to come straight back onto a pitch and perform from the off - that would be a lot to ask for someone a lot younger and, erm, more toned who had been through what he has.

agree with that, also we need someone with balls to get us outta this division,no pun intended.ktf.

  10. Why has the club decided that tickets for games that are weeks away should go on sale to ST holders on a day when 8" of snow is forcast in some places? So as a ST holder I would have to go tomorrow in pretty bad weather, or on friday in bad weather or if saturdays game is on join a long queue. I think it would have been better to put these on sale on Monday for a couple of days to ST holders and then open sale on Wednesday As it happens I dont think there will be a mad rush for tickets however it just shows bad planning in my opinion. Also why is one voucher being used for both games, are we short of vouchers? Its not as if we have a cup run to use them all up on is it?

    Rant over!

so now we're blaming latics for the friggin weather, get a grip for fooks sake,i think it will be harder for me to get to latics from where i live to get my ticket but guess what,i'll just get on with it without whinging

  11. if he goes then good luck to him,its been said before 400 grand is a lot of money for a 33year old, what if he does'nt go and after the window shuts he gets injured and misses the rest of the season we'll be bolloxed and can't get a replacement in,this way if he goes it gives us enough time to get a list of replacements together and start making inquiries instead of repeating the shambles of last january,i would'nt mind seeing that lad from carlisle think he's called graham or summat like that also joel porter.ktf.

  12. To be honest I got a picture in my mind of feral chavs screaming abuse, sadly as I've seen a fair bit of that in the RRE this year. I'm not saying that it's out of order to do some piss taking though, so long as it didn't go over the lining into bullying.

so you did'nt see it,think the lad is lookin for a reaction really and he got one, what next markoasis in his united top?
