  1. You agree with me that Eardley is the better full back then?

Lomax did alright yesterday, but for some to think he had an immense game is wrong, he miskicked the ball three times in about 5 seconds in the opening few minutes of the match and looked extremely uncertain and nervous (now IMHO thats not great defending).

Messageboards are for debate and discussion, yet if anybody criticise's any player then you get a flurry of posts saying how wrong it is.

Why is it wrong to express a constructive and reasoned opinion on a player or the team, just because you are not praising them to the skies doesn't make it wrong.

My opinion of Lomax is that he is a weak link in a promotion chasing League 1 team.

Paulguard just because you dont agree with the content of my post doesn't make it wrong, all it means is that you dont agree. It's just as well I regard the content of your posts so highly then. <_< .

BTW I always keep the Faith. :ktf:

i've always said eardleys the better player hometownclub,it's just that lomax had one of his better games for the team in along time in his favoured position and yet people still choose to pick out the bad points in his game yet you don't hear many people slating hughes off for those silly misplaced passes that went to stockport players when under no real pressure which could of changed the outcome of the game if we where playing a better team, you could be right about lomax being the weak link in the team but yesterday i thought he deserved to get a bit more praise than he did,i thought i was debating your post with my reply, also my last line about your post being :censored:e was meant to be tongue in cheek guess i should use the smiley thingys more often.ktf. :disappointed::blush::grin::D

  2. My god there's some :censored:e talked on here, Lomax looked extremely nervous and uncertain at the start of the game, but as the match wore on he did a little better and his confidence appeared to improve (he certainly did not have a good game as Stockport did not exactly have us with our backs to the wall)

He is a very uncertain defender on either flank to me, for people to seriously and honestly think he is better than Eardley beggars belief.

If Eardley had not been suspended he would have played at RB yesterday and will play ay RB on Tuesday, he is totally different class to Lomax in every aspect of his game.

but eardley was suspended and we had a capable replacement in lomax, and to say as the game wore on he only did a little better is way off the mark imo, still think eardley is the better fullback of the two but any praise lomax gets is totally justified, your first eight words of your post are very true, your post being one of them.ktf.

  3. Don't get what the problem is with paying full price. Considering the things people waste money on a few quid more is a mountain out of a molehill. I can only imagine its students or the unemployed who can get upset over this but at the end of the day rules are rules and fortunately if you cannot make it you can watch it on tv.

agree,if people were planning to go prior to deigo's findings and now have changed their minds need to have a long hard look at themselves, ktf.

  4. Not really asking you to be bothered about it, just stating a fact that someone "encroached" onto the pitch and got away with it.

If one of our pie sellers was walking along the side of the pitch and we scored and he ran the full width of the pitch to join in the celebration the FA might not look to kindly upon it and fine the club and have the person banned.

Just thought i would point it out. <_<

won't happen mate,we sell out of pies before kick-off

  5. ... and maybe we shouldnt have played like a bunch of :censored: ing strangers for the entire 90 minutes, therefore scoring more goals.

Playing like a pub team tends to result in you conceding at least 1 goal.

yeah your right,i was merely pointing out it's always someone at the back who gets the blame which is wrong, win as a team, lose as a team and in our case draw as a team.

  6. im sick of some oldham fans now, far too negative how can anyone be saying he might cut it at droylsden not good enough etc. its a fu**in joke. He hasnt had a decent chance at all. why do some of our fans need so many scapegoats and players to jump on when things go wrong. Look at maher 60 minutes against millwall first game of the season and hes suddenly a shocking signing by shez and now all of a sudden hes an excellent player who whitaker shouldn't replace. some of you dont give anyone a chance at all.

makes you cringe does'nt it. :( ktf.

  7. positives? we did yesterday what clubs have been doing at boundary park all season, went away from home against shut up shop and got a good point deserved overall or not.

i also think thats the best ive seen a team play against us this season.

the amount of :censored:e that gets written on this board when we dont win is a joke.

"the players dont care" of course the players care but huddersfield where just better than us yesterday its that simple, but they didnt win...did they?

sign of a good side to take points from games when you dont deserve it.

    agreed,ktf.

  8. They didn't sell so many today what with the office not being open. My fault for not checking I suppose, it would have been easier to stomach if it hadn't taken 45 minutes either way to get through the frigging traffic from people queuing to get into the retail complex. I'm pretty sure they were/will be giving us the full allocation.

initially 2600,think they are on open sale now.ktf.

  9. You were saying about doing your research ? Look who's talking bollocks now.

PS : I always wondered who the Mossley village Idiot was,Cheers looks like I have found him :)

richards played over 20 games in the prem before he got injured and 7 internationals for england so yes i'd say he had a good season would'nt you?.no need to get personal either but if thats the way you react when some one points out one of your posts is bollox then so be it.

  10.

Please remind me of this wonderous comment I made 18 months ago, that you remember so clearly, and have obviously been waiting to use in a stalking sort of way next time I make a jokey remark against you (you are now rivaling my wife in the ability to use a throwaway comment against me 2 years after I said it... you arent my wife are you?) ... and rumour has it, at the time quite a lot of people actually thought that Davies and Ricketts might be good players, ask JSS

... honesty, winky thing! I used a bloody winky thing... never mind...

no,not your wife but if i was i'd be telling you not to go out in public wearing those hideous sunglasses like the ones you had at hartlepool, nothing to do with stalking you either, just a good memory.

  11. He has had a couple of injuries of late inc surgery on his Knee and also ankle problems which is not helping him to get regular football.

I'm sure once he fully recovers he will be back on the Wanted List.

city have played 18 games in the greedy league this season with richards playing 17 of those,so stop talkin bollox man,ps,a little bit of research really can stop you looking foolish.
