back to the main topic how about one about him not being loved in Coventry! Haha! As anyone who listened to talksport the day it was announced we'd be signing him will tell you.
'Lee Hughes wherever you may be
they dont like you in coventry
but we dont care, you've done your time
being given parole must be mighty fine'

I would dearly love to hear either "Wake Up" by the Arcade Fire, or "I Am The Resurrection" by the Stone Roses as the players approach the pitch. They're both pitch perfect as a) being great songs and slow-buildups which are sure to get the crowd going.
So, slow build-up songs for pre-match.
And for scoring a goal... something punchy and distinctive like "Move on Up" by Curtis Mayfield, "Louie Louie" by the Kingsmen, "Standing In The Way Of Control" by The Gossip, or "Blue Orchid" by the White Stripes. Especially the last one as it has such an infectious and distinctive opening riff. And it has Blue in the title!
I like your thinking, if not "I am The Resurrection" how about "This is the one" or would that be copying Man Utd?

come to Glossop it's full of strange people, like dancing guy whose about 50 and dances like John Travolta in what is now Glossops only club and I mean he really gets into it, he's bald wears the same long sleeved T-shirt tucked into his jeans and crocodile shoes

Could we not adopt House of Pain - Jump Around it's got it all . Short sweet and to the point - "get out ya seat and JUMP AROUND"
on the early 90's hip-hop theme how about Beatie Boys - Fight for your Right?

summt by the Inspiral Carpets or the Stone Roses

funny one at the cricket the other week "The Weels on your house go round and round........"
-
If we are to sign him then this would convince me that we have the best side in this League
-
I'm an outsider to Oldham, although I do have family that live inbetween the White Hart and the other place, but I started going in the White Hart towards the end of last season and thought it was great to have a Latics stronghold pub, before that it was the Clayton Green which I found more neutral but a nice boozer so we'll probably still make the odd visit before games
-
I'd be on the fence about it personally, he didn't do as well on loan as I would of liked him to, but I do feel he has bags of potential and could be a handful at our level
-
My gut feeling is that we'll sign Leon Clarke, plus I've heard from the Wednesday end that he's unhappy and is seeking a move for free

Davies for me he's given the side a little more pace, and everytime he gets the ball you can't help but imagine the opposition fans crapping their pants
