Zola - £200K
Hughes - £27.5 Million

I can't see him moving, the impression I get is he is settled and is ready to give us a massive season as repayment for the flack we took. Looking forward to those 25 goals Lee.

Yeah bring back Spall I say. I haven't had a replica shirt of any description since they were making them and my 1986/87 season home shirt still looks as good as new and I've grown about 4 feet since then. Fair enough it scarcely fits over my finger let alone my shoulders but it was big enough to be a dress when purchased and that JW Lees logo doesn't run in the wash. They don't make 'em like they used to.
That was the greatest Latics shirt ever made in my opinion.
-
I would like some reassurance from the club that the children in the Taiwanese sweat shops making these shirts have received the proper training.
-
what a good guess by me the other day
Is he any good, I can't remember him standing out.
-
How many current premiership players have scored against us? I don't know the answer, was just thinkin about it the other day.
Only managed to come up with Bullard (Wigan), Defoe (Spurs), and Vaz Te (Bolton)
Dean Windass

Livermore, Showumni and maybe Ritchie Jones.

Bury! Tribunal! That'll be half a million for him then.
And in 2 years he will sign for Motherwell for nothing!!!!!

The drum ruins songs not enhances them, in the middle of singing "oh when the blues " I don't want someone banging a drum drowning the words out. I didn't hear a drum away at Everton and the singing was awesome, thats a big game you say but games away at Swindon have equalled it. We don't need a drum at home just the singers that go to away games to be together and singing.

Its gonna be awesome because Parker i think said along the lines of were goin up next season your staying down. Now look were Parker is ... back in our league.
After the game he definitely said when being interviewed " I think he was upset because my career is on the way up and his is on the way down " as you say a year later ( without scoring a goal in the championship ) he is back in league one, little gob sh*te.
Never mind shin pads I think he will need an armoured suit when Gregan gets hold of him next season.

And Stam.
Stam wrote about being tapped up in his autobiography and soon after found himself a Lazio player.
The double standards even for them is unbelievable,

It does seem pointless to have a rant at this time, the Latics PR machine and the way some of the clubs executives goes about its business can be dreadful, it is maybe why we are looking for new sponsors of the Rochdale Road End, Chaddy The Owl and various events.
Another example I can give is the day before the Huddersfield cup game when we are crying out for a striker there is a headline on the website to the effect " Latics make signing for Saturday " only upon reading the story you find out we have hired a dance troop for the game, hilarious. I can remember laughing my head off when after a toothless performance we lost 1-0 to an average side at home and almost wetting myself when they went on to draw Chelsea away in the next round.
As already mentioned in the past we have announced we have signed Patrick Berger, an hour later we haven't and we look foolish again, the farce of the January transfer window was for all to see so I think unless someone has signed up we should say nothing.
-
Even without the incentive to make up the -15 points of last season, they will be odds-on to get automatic. We can just stay in their slipstream and sneak the second
What Leeds had 15 points deducted they never mentioned it!!!!!!!!!!
-
or it could be another......
latics have made a loan swoop for patrick berger.........
latics fail to agree terms with berger
About time we had a decent Berger at Latics

I signed something this morning for my season ticket to arrive. I think It's going to be Fleming
I have heard that it will be Fleming, never seen him play but the reports look good.
-
..cos we wouldn't have been able to make all these cracking signings ahead of our rivals...
The prophet of doom returns
-
Cardiff's reaction to the National anthem as made my mind up .....
PLAY UP POMPEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Todays chron says muzza been speaking to SC about possible return
Also dismissed a rumor of a taylor for wellens swap deal as pure speculation (first ive heard of it)
opinions???
I loved him when he was here last and will always be thankful for the season when he pretty much kept us up on his own but not sure he is anything like the player he was but if he is not asking for silly money could be a useful squad player.
-
Wakie away!!!
Probably the worst possible draw for them
-
A big problem we had last season was with the exception of Leeds the away followings at BP for league games where pish poor.
-
He has been fired off by Villa after advising Gareth Barry to join Liverpool, do you think we will try and sign him again or after last season's fiasco we will stay well clear.
-
Hardly 'fantastic'.
I think this is great news, undoubtedly a classy player and I think with him putting the balls in for a fit Lee Hughes you will see the benefits of having someone who can pick a pass and hit their man. He is never going to start all season but a quality option from the bench.
-
Paul Edwards is the most one footed footballer I have ever seen.
-
I was going to suggest to the tune of radio ga ga
" All we need is JP Kalala "
But this afternoon's news has put pay to that but I really hope we are singing Scholesy is a Latic because after last night I think he may have done enough to earn himself a transfer to BP next season, although we would have to work on his tackling

On his day he his top quality but that doesn't come along too often anymore, just can't see him fancying West Brom away on a cold Tuesday night.
