  1. There is of course the possibility that Trotters doesn't actually WANT to leave. He may well be enjoying his time here and may be happy to continue to develop until either we go up/a bigger club than Plymouth come in for him. Hell, he might just not fancy being 300 miles away from his family all week..

I think that is a good point, as a young lad he may not want to move away and the fact that we gave him a chance after being released by Burnley could also warrant him showing a bit of loyalty. I wish him all the best whatever he does but we have to make sure we get a decent deal.

  2. Why is everyone having a go at this fella ? All he is doing is questioning the poor form of a player which has without doubt dipped over recent weeks. There is no question that against Brighton he should have passed to Hughes who would have had a tap in and we win the game instead he blazed one wide and in better form would have scored 2 or 3 last night.

I am 100% for chanting his name and getting behind him every time we play because I really rate him and we have been crying out for a striker with pace for years but I think to be sending him messages of support is a bit too much. He is a grown man and a pro footballer and should be able to motivate himself or be motivated by his manager and I fear all it will achieve is making him the butt of dressing room jokes.

  3. The Clarke move if it comes off would be excellent for us. Even a semi-fit version of him last season bagged goals for us and his hold up play was still pretty decent. And I think we're lacking a physical frontman now too, as in the air other than Trotters we just have very little threat.

I don't see what everyone else does in Parker. Last season I'm putting down to a one-season-wonder, but I've seen him play for Blackpool 4 or 5 seasons now and he's never struck me as all that dangerous previously. Lots of baggage with him as well by the sounds of it.

I remember him saying after the playoff altercation with Gregan that he was probably upset because his career was on the way up and Gregans was in decline, at least Greagan was a premiership player and wasn't warming the bench of a lower end championship team in his mid 20's. The guy is obviously dense and I want him nowhere near BP, anyone who sells their story about bedding Jade Goody has to be thick and yes Keigan she is minging.

  4. I know what Bradley off Eastenders feels like now, bad enough the cheating but with his own father. I felt terrible upon hearing he had left but going to Leeds is an extra slap in the face.

We need a creative midfielder asap and I think Cywmka is a great shout, just hope Steve Bruce lets us have him.

  5. Sharp getting the manger's job after Royle is one of the main reasons for our continued plight since relegation in 1994, we needed a really good managerial appointment to steady the ship and we got that tool. He slagged us off for not backing him but I remember the scramble to sign him up as manager after we sacked him, a race I think Bangor City won which I think sums things up.

  6. I thought his comments were totally disgusting, people had come out on a Tuesday night and were treated to a terrible first half performance. Greagan in particular was awful in the first half at Accrington, the biggest problem I have with him is that he is a good player but he strolls around like he is Franz Beckenbauer thinking he is too good for this league, I'm sorry but when an Accrington Stanley centre forward is running you ragged its time to pull your finger out and start trying.

  7. Owen's international goalscoring record demands he plays, he has consistently scored in the big tournaments and is rightly first choice. Defoe lacks heart and can't even get a game at spurs, Crouch likewise can't get in the Liverpool squad, Andy Johnson whole game is based on diving for penalties, none are fit to lace Owen's boots.

  8. Hartlepool, atmosphere was good and no drumbut on the other hand.Huddersfield ,atmosphere was brill with the drum.

Think it depends on how its used and where in a big acoustic ground would sound better than brighton or chesterfield, if he just toned the beat of the drum down a bit would be o.k.

Mind you we cant hear him were we sit we just see people clapping in time with him but no voices bieng heard.

Why dont we compramise and sing a song with no drum e.g

We play in blueeeeeeeee and tangerineeeeee..........................................

I think the reason the atmosphere was good at Huddersfield was because we where playing brilliant, there was nearly 4,000 Latics fans and Chris Taylor put on a wonder show not the drum, so lets go for a trial period without the drum, say until to the end of the 2020/2021 season
