Should he not be able to work that out himself?
Well, he hasn't done so far. He has been here 12 ish months, and we play just the same style as when he arrived. So maybe not.

As soon as the Athleticos start chanting Unsworth out at consecutive home games he’s gone in my opinion.
I don't think that should happen, so maybe the Athleticos could start chanting Attack, Attack, Attack Attack Attack. Rhino should understand, that fans are fed up with negative defensive tactics. And want to see our team doing their defending on the edge of the oppositions penalty area.

Met a fair few latics in the pub before the game. All were a credit to your club.
I didn't expect a result like that today but in truth it was thoroughly deserved. It could have been more.
I felt the red was harsh but you make a tackle like that away from home and with the crowd on the refs back and it's usually going to be a red.
We were excellent today and deserved the win.
A fan told me before the game the Norwood is on 4k per week. I'd be fuming. His effort levels were abysmal and he looked disinterested.
Good luck for the season. You have a lot of new faces and it takes time to gel. We have a limited but very together bunch and a great management team.
IF we get taken over and sign more players then I'd expect us to be up the top with you and chesterfield.
All the best.
After the troubles that your club have had, and are still having you deserve to do well. An amazing effort, well done and good luck to all involved in getting your club back.

It is a terrible result and a massive wake up call for everybody. I'll be very surprised if it is a 100 points for promotion season like last season so these kind of results are probably going to crop up over the course of the last nine months.
True, but when they crop up on the first day of the season it spells trouble. In our first game, we have undone months of positivity, and masses of confidence building throughout the club. Poor Frank must wonder what he has to do.

Faz, anyone booing or calling for the managers head after one game can't be taken seriously, I'm not interested in last season, it has no relevance on this one.
Yes it has. Last season we were mostly shite, not only that, but when we did get results we were still awful to watch.
And we have started this season WORSE that before. Even though we have spent lots and lots of money, in order to go BACKWARDS.
And when you have travelled 500 plus miles ,and spent hundreds of pounds, to watch what amounted to a load of crap you are ENTITLED to boo.

Higher than we are now.

Maybe Joe should have a word in his shell like, and tell him, that his teams also used to defend on the edge of the box THE OPPOSITIONS.
For god's sake, can we play the game in their half, instead of forever worrying about defending. We obviously went out to defend today, and look what happened.

All the euphoria, The massive shift of expectation, against a 25 year backdrop of abject misery.
and then this . Totally humiliated by a team and club fighting for a future.
Something is very wrong at Latics, and I suspect that we ALL know what it is. Frank needs to be very brave, and he is required to act swiftly.

Why are we assuming Lundstrum has been crocked?
It's what Latics fans do. Fear the worst, hope for the best.

I'm looking forward to seeing our keepers complete with pigtails and pink ribbons.

Would have thought very little chance of game going ahead.

We don’t need Dallas. We have 5 strikers, 6 with Luamba. We have no wife players or a right back.
Nuttall will score 20+ next year.
A wife player is the last thing we need.

But with the greatest respect, does it matter? I have had people sat in my seat a lot of times. I usually find a seat within about 5 seats of mine with plenty of other options. It just seems strange to me.
Just shows how far we have come in a very short period of time.
From the shambles of many years of untold amounts of crap that we have had to endure. We are now having debates about stickers on seats. Happy days indeed.

In 30 years as a season ticket holder, I have never had a reserved sticker on my seat.
Neither have I ever had anyone sat in my seat when I have arrived at it.
Mountains and mole hills comes to mind.

Never seen so many people complaining about a “kit”, and don’t get it. The club must be doing something well if thats all we as a fanbase can complain about.
Not complaining, just asking a question .
-
They keep saying 'Kit'. I thought kit consisted of a shirt, shorts and some socks. Why then have we seen no pictures of the FULL kit, actually being worn by one of the players.

In any case I don't give a fuck about the managers personality traits if we put out of winning team, if we are crowned Champions in April/May I'll carry him up the Town Hall steps on my shoulders.
Not on your own you won't.

Depends on money I suppose, but think he'd be a shoe-in for a League 1 or 2 club.
Personally I'd rather the money be spent on young hungry players but Winchester would be perfect at playing the ball out of defence, either in midfield or right back.
How old will winch be now ?

Well that was a real treat. We have not witnessed a performance like that for a long long time.
No weak links, everybody on the right wavelength, and everybody pulling their tripe out for the cause.
Special mention to Freeman, he looks a quality player. Also top marks to Sheron and Shelton who ran their balls off for the team.
However, the whole team were brilliant, and all of them deserve lots of praise. And the manager should also take a pat on the back for getting the formation and game plan spot on.
