And replaced by?. Not trying to be difficult but our history over the last few years says that this isn't going to easily happen

Protests, banners, follow Charltons and Blackpools example with their owner by throwing hundreds of tennis balls on the pitch
And you really believe that this owner will continue to throw what resource he has into the Club?

Just my opinion but the FA should concentrate on basic matters like improving the dire standard of referees that grace our leagues first

At this moment time it's all conjecture but it makes interesting reading and much more interesting than the Premier League matches that are being played at this moment in time

I disagree. Massive opportunity missed.
I was gutted.
Tend to agree with all that you post but this time it was not an opportunity missed. It to me was blatant poor refereeing by the officials, but as Latics fans we have had to endure that over the years

Best team won.
Can't remember when I last downboated someone and it does not give me pleasure as it is not in my nature but on this occasion you deserve one

I think Scholes is driving the timing of this announcement, if it happens.
Busy at the moment scouring the market for loan players

Not a gambling person but what are the latest odds on a managerial appointment please?

"Can you confirm if you are in talks with Oldham"
"No"
So being pedantic was that
NO I am not in talks with Oldham or No I cant confirm that that I am in talks with Oldham

Really cannot understand why someone is upset. If the tickets had only been sold in maximum of two I believe that there would have been plenty left, not only now but at the end of the week when the Club would have been forced to take them off sale. Four seem to be an ideal compromise. and they all went, MORE MONEY IN THE COFFERS which to us is of paramount importance
Also I would be very surprised if none became available on one of the social sites as the week passes

It speaks volumes for our fan base when clubs like Doncaster feel that they need to make an FA Cup tie against Oldham all ticket

Season ticket holders get first dibs deal with it.
Which has always been the deal

Reminds me of a situation many years ago when I needed to buy a product but the supplier would not let me buy because if he did he would have sold out.
FFS I you have a product to sell if there is a demand. We are now getting the best service from the ticket than we have ever had.
Let them get on with it

I find it amazing that despite the nunber of times that he has been linked to the managers position that it has not happened yet.
My opinion is that he can input great deal into the Club but my main concern is that should it not work out.
Like Frankie Bunn and others I would hate to eventually see him leave with a different affection that he as a great fan has/has for the the Latics

I’m sure he could sell them to either of the group and would get them back whenever he wanted if it didn’t go well at BP. Butt is his best mate I think out the group so wouldn’t surprise me if it was him he sold them to and the understanding he could get them back
Wouldn't be worth anything after the Latics under his leadership storm up the leagues and win every trophy known to football

Peter Wild and Paul Scholes combination. Two fans managing the Club now?

Duds maybe not but none of them look much better than average league 2 players.
My opinion for what it is worth is that the Club will unearth potential jewels amongst the imports, be our players with a potential sell on value which may be a necessary evil, enable us to rely less on the loan system.
It would also be nice if some could develop an affinity with us as they are not temporary on loan players and take pride in the shirt they wear

Wasn't long ago that people were complaining about bno feedback from the Club

And it was only a few days after I'd come back from dicking around in Thailand for a month. All in all a depressing experience
Especially after dicking around in Thailand. You would have been used to the on field performances at BP.
Mind you at my age I am used to leaving my wallet behind. The only thing of value in that is my season ticket and many would debate that
