That Ipswich game is one of my fondest memories, was living in Hertfordshire at the time. My only visit to Portman Rd. Lovely sunny day, was it 2-0 for us? Never looked like losing. Happy days.
Was in crutches for the Ipswich game. Was in crutches for the FA cup win against Liverpool 5 years ago and having to use a walking frame having broken both bones in mt left leg recently
Is this a good omen for tomorrow's game or am I just unlucky?

Hasn’t been last Friday of the month since about December 2016 when it was changed to last working day of month - not heard of first being introduced but may be wrong
** though I’m talking full time staff - may be different for match day
Did I not say, "used to be"?. Going to leave it at that because this is line of conversation is going nowhere constructive

Used to be last Friday of the month for match day staff. Changed quite a while back to the 1st day of the following month (assuming that it was not at weekend)

They get paid lady working day of the month so how was yesterday early?
Officially meant to be paid on the first of the month, Today

Mike Keegan has probably forgotten more than I ever knew about football and I would be surprised if he really made this statement about non payment of staff wages, I know that some were paid yesterday which actually was a day early. It really is time this issue was put to bed

You are right, it's tough life these days compared to when I caught the bus to the hospital and trekked down Sheepfoot Lane to join 42,000 other poor souls.
Incidentally, the tannoys didnt work back then either, so not a lot changes.
The "X" bus specials!. Used to catch mine at the top of what was Park St. Great atmosphere walking back up Sheepfoot Lane after the game too

What about fans who don't have kids ....
They should have some to ensure future generations of Latics fans

Would have thought that Blackburn to Mills Hill via train calling in at the Rose of Lancaster would have been a reasonable call
Or Victoria to Mills Hill as they are coming from Manchester

Three games is nothing. We won 7 on the bounce under Talbot. Even Penney managed three wins on the spin.
For you it may be nothing, For many it is a distant memory

I doubt anyone born in Oldham during 2016 was named Nigel.............. way off topic I know, but get this, only 2 lads were named Nigel in the whole of the UK during 2016.
SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Clarence just might make a come back.
Just think of all the new fathers naming their prodigy Clarence after he has led us to successive promotions and numerous cup wins

When does the investment start?
When does Sheridan go?. If he does, all conjecture at the moment

We have been screaming out for much needed investment for years. Shez going may be the price that has to be paid

Apparently that is why the Oxford Cambridge boat race is difficult.
You have 12 oars 2 cox and only 20 minutes to do it in.
Again you now know why I don't post on.here very often

Free match tickets! Where has that come from?

OK I am now going to test your intelligence and ask why as opposed to a two worded comment. Don't mind criticism but do expect it to be constructive

Perhaps this is a prelude to the home fans being relocated next seasons back to the Chaddy. I seem to recollect that one of the reasons for the change was so that a family stand area was more feasible in the RRE. Now that the North Stand is open a move there ore even the Main stand could be an option

I forgot about Clarke having the indignity of literally having his shorts pulled down and his black budgie smugglers on show.
He was not amused and I loved the way he still waddled off without pulling them up to carry on marking their player.
Brilliant
It anyone was going to notice that it would be you

He will be if he comes to Oldham. On that note its time to disappear for another few months

Bradford possibly bringing 2500 / 3000 supporters tomorrow. Makes financial sense to me to return to normal prices in order to maximise potential revenue bearing in mind that it was free admission last Tuesday

Insane. I think there's a seat with your name on it in the Latics boardroom.

Another sense of humour failure I assume
