  1. Need to report it to the ticket office so that it will be voided

If anyone tries to use it is will not make that " pretty sound) as it is scanned and the turnstile operator will fuse admission.

There us a chance that it it may show on the system as someone having tried to use it

The latter pure conjecture on my part

  2. A tiny part of me wants to go to Blackburn, I always make a point of going to new grounds, and Ewood park is one I haven't been to. I said when they announced this new format I wouldn't attend any of them, so i'm going to stick to that. Hopefully we can stay in this league and play them next season as they look like they could get relegated this season.

I don't have any problem with anyone who does go, each to their own and all that. Would imagine they'll be less than 100.

  3. e) cost of lost income by fraud/theft (funny how many under 12's go through Bobs turnstile)

    Again just my thoughts but

    1) I believe ticket holders may use any relevant turnstile entering to the part of the ground for it was purchased. Hence you may see adults concessions and juniors all having their tickets scanned at the same gate

    2) I also understand that there were complaints in previous seasons where parents were reluctant to let their UNDER 12 children through a different gate.As a consequence adult turnstiles are allowed to admit these at the junior price. The Club does monitor the number of junior

  4. To my mind it costs money to handle cash

    . Based on "my" assumptions

    a) Cost of having floats to give out change on the turnstile Banks charge for change

b Cost of banking the takings.I believe that banks charge for "banking" cash

    c) Costs involved in getting receipts from a ground to the bank Security company

    d) On match days it must be much easier to scan tickets and arrive at an attendance figure quicker and accurately hence less staffing costs

Just a few thoughts off the top of my head

  5. Oh, aye and Winchester is the answer then??? FFS, somebody better tell Robinson (and nearly every other manager over the past five or six years) he's got it all wrong!!!

Time to get rid of the lazy, idle :censored:!!!

SINCERE APOLOGIES Wad done unintentionally. My only complerely unacceptable excuse is that it is past 1 am and I have had a few sherberts after tonights game

  6. Never understood the animosity of many Latics' fans to City. When we were going bust, I was part of the team of fans who did a bucket collection down at Eastlands. The City fans were marvellous in their support of Latics - both verbally and in coughin up more than £10,000 on the day !

We did Utd not too long after and raised around £4k from a much bigger crowd.

City fans have a warmth for Latics - we should appreciate that.

Fair point.i did a turnstile some years ago for a friendly against them arranged in part to raise funds for us. Many of their fans paid way above admit price to help the Club to survive
  7. While the owners are taking money out via various avenues I struggle with the idea of fans paying additional costs towards buying players.

That money going towards getting kids involved via tickets etc I have less issue with.

While our thoughts differ on the current owners I respect your opinion, In my mind Latics4life is an excellent idea but am not sure whether it a success.yet and the youngsters need to be encouraged to stay by seeing success on the pitch
