Just thinking here we know tameside council would welcome a profesional football club with open arms, maybe well off the mark but does any one think we could develop curzon ashtons ground while we are playing there.

The problem is we have already layed out millions of pounds, we would suffer a loss on that plus what it would cost to redevelop boundary park, we would be in the same position, we wouldnt be self sufficient

Thats what was said, the charity commission said they were not satisfied that sufficient information has been provided to enable them to exercise their power and permit the transfer to proceed.

Thats what was mentioned when I spoke to the council, they will re submit the application with the points which were missed off. We will then come to an appeal if this is not succesful

He is there are always an appeal process when anything is decided!!! hes just talking crap again

I have spoken to Mark Preswich who is looking at this from the council, there are grounds for an appeal and that the charity commission are only going off the information which was provided to them

Its not going to happen as the failsworth project not dead yet, the club have spent near on 5millon pounds to get where we are now

Just spoke to Mark Prestwich of Oldham council, He said that the coucil are 100% still behind the staduim move and are hopeful this can be sorted out soon, there are a number of options which have already been mentioned ie appeal, or to just tweak the original submittial. They are speaking to latics (simon and Alan) nearly every hour to try to resolve the issues, and as this has dragged on for some time and this matter is a priority. A number of other options were looked at for the stadium location but there were obsticles with all of them. Failsworth was seen to be the best option. Just spoke to the council regarding some more information on the whole situation, just awaitnig a phone call back as apparently the person who I needed to speak to was on the other line.

Same here just felt we lacked any effort tonight, lazy on the ball and lazy off it, I can take a defeat if I see the effort has been put in but I did not see much tonight

We did start on the backfoot, gave them far to much respect, I agree the midfield needs shaking up but who do we put in there? I think stephens needs a rest was poor again tonigh in my opinion, and im not sure who we can put up front who is going to get the goals we need

They were good but i just did not see the effort from our boys as we have seen in other games this season which was dissapointing

I can take a defeat when, I can see the players giving 100%, where has all the runnig about gone we seem to be just waiting for teams to give the ball to us and not go to win it, Im just now waitng for the club to come out and say support is needed but when crap like that is served up people wont come to boundary park it hard enough to get people in when we are winn

He's got a point two strikers on the the bench and we still play trotman upfront, surely it would make more sense to put a striker on when we needed a goal

The referees just seem to get worse you leave a game thinking there surely cant be any one worse than that then the next game there is, some of the decisions he made dont get seen in amature football never mind professional football

What a terrible display from the referee today first time I have seen home fans chanting you donbt know what your doing when an opposition player gets sent off, as for the penalty I thought it was very harsh, we should have had a couple of penaltys too

You can see there is no effort coming from him, I dont care if he is playing out of position he gets paid every week, and should try his best what ever position the manager puts him in, but he just cant seem to do this, Changed a winning team because firman is a much better player than jones

If he showed some effort I could understand shouldnt matter where you play, kieran lee is an example justs wants to be playing football right back is not his possition but he makes a real effort
