Just watched them on the wifi at my Gainesville motel. Monty's was special.

Great result, 48 more points should see us safe.

Oh my wordy, Cardiff and Leeds just blew me away. I've seen some amazing Bruce gigs over the last few years but they're both up there.
I was half expecting a full-album Born in the USA in Leeds (that'll teach me for believing rumours I read on the internets) so was great to hear No Surrender early on!
Leeds Council have agreed to rescind the parking tickets - the Council leader said it was a case of a parking warden being a bit over-zealous.
Springsteen & I was mostly great - we christened the reluctant husband "Karl Pilkington". I liked the Danish guy too although apparently he has a dodgy memory re some of the songs he heard!

Just got back from Belfast - THAT's more like it! A huge improvement from the show I saw in Paris (which was as close to a phoned-in performance as I've seen Bruce do). Another pre-show set which was nice too.
Hearing rumours of The River in full at one of the Kilkenny gigs... there must be some reason he's practised Jackson Cage, Price You Pay, Fade Away etc recently!
Next up Cardiff for me.

i like it.
wife recently persuaded me to buy a pink shirt for work, and i have to say, im quite happy with it
even had a couple of compliments from the ladies, which is a rarity at best!, so ill be purchasing,
Nowt wrong with a pink work shirt, I've got a couple myself! Up until the 1940s, pink was the traditional male colour for infants and blue the female colour.
Re the kit, I don't think its too bad but won't be buying it.

Makes sense to practice various systems, both with and without Jose. Didn't LJ say he'd have a plan A, B, C, D etc, not just PD-style plan A?

I can't see any way PlayerShare could be a charitable cause.
Nor I. I can't remember the exact definition but a charity has to benefit the public, not a company or individual. As PlayerShare exists to benefit OAFC, there's no way it could be a charity.

Joe Royle praised him? Saying what?
Royle also gave Dave Penney his seal of approval so whatever he said, take with a pinch of salt!

That Rome gig. WOW.
Curse me for taking the easy options this year.

Don't get an i(ncontinence)pad!

I suspect the Irish will get some treats.
Unfortunately I'm only going to Belfast out of all the Irish ones. Knowing my luck it'll be another BITUSA show!
Just compare the album shows with the recent German album-less ones, no comparison in my opinion. Who'd have thought Germany would have been the rockin' place to be?!
-
Should have gone to Mönchengladbach!
Tell me about it! I didn't bother with that or Gijon and opted for the more "convenient" ones.

Got to say, I thought Paris was one of the worst Bruce gigs I've seen. Still a great gig by any other artist's standards and a lot of fun, but it just seemed like it was phoned-in a bit.
The mini acoustic set early on made the trip worthwhile though.
I hope the BITUSA rumours about Leeds aren't true. It was nice seeing it once but I prefer the spontaneity of not knowing what's coming next.

That errant apostrophe in the title has tainted my day.
Woof.
Its not even a proper apostrophe, its a grave or grave accent I believe (next to the number 1 on the keyboard).

I'd forgotten how tiny LJ is!

I saw on the BP concert thread you were pretty close O4U! What time did you arrive? We turned up at around 0930h and settled for the back of the "pit", opting to go and get some food and dry out once we got our wristbands. Can't believe how many had turned up early.
I thought the first third of the show was very, very good. Darkness was nice to hear in its entirety but the lack of spontaneity made it less enjoyable than I would have imagined.
Off to Glasgow after work tomorrow for round 2!

The Boss!
When stood on the Wembley pitch last night I couldn't help but think that I'd have enjoyed it so much more at BP.
He's playing other league 1 grounds (Ricoh) and amateur Scottish grounds (Hampden) so why not?!

Anybody thinking of buying an ST/merchandise/hospitality/anything from the club in the coming weeks - don't.
Anybody who has already bought any of the above already - tell the club you will be returning it if Vaughan has any formal involvement in the club.
The parasite will soon :censored: off when he realises there is nothing to rape and pillage here.
Do we have a right to return our ST for a refund? Has anybody successfully done this?
-
I'll put up with the rain if the leg room's good!
-
and theres a difference between being 16 and owning an under 16 season ticket and being 20 and owning an under 20 season ticket?
No, but the point is you got lucky/the club got it wrong 4 years ago.

Except it's david mellor whos signed and not 'curt miller' ;)
I thought it was 'Gurd Muller'?

age is just about the last thing to consider when selecting somebody to lead you to a "greater good".
You don't really think political parties make decisions based on the greater good do you? You'll be put in an asylum for even suggesting such a radical notion!

I've not decided. I don't want to commit to getting Baxter on the back until I know he's stopping!

What did Latics do with their parachute payments from the Premier and Championships ?
They spent £2 on covering up the score board and the remaining £8 on half painting the Chaddy roof!
