personally i can take it or leave it. how you lot can remember if a drum was at preston or not is remarkable. i remember it for simpson having a stormer and weslowski scoring a rare goal
Remembering something that happened less than 18 months ago is remarkable? You must be easily impressed.

I really hope Jagielka or Distin get a (minor) injury before/during the game and we end up with Smith v Heitinga...
-
I know Everton's chief executive, as a special favour he is arranging to scrap Z Cars when the players run out, in favour of James' most famous song.
Laid? Seems an odd choice.

If we're seriously having to rely on a drum to create an atmosphere at our biggest game for donkey's years then we may as well give up. PNE away last season was the best atmosphere I've heard at a Latics game in recent years and guess what... no drum. The home game was a great atmosphere, but I think it would've been without the drum too.

Liverpool was one of my least favourite away days, the goal aside. Horrendous. I hope Tuesday isn't a repeat.

A lad behind me today kept calling him Yosé, I'm pretty sure that's not right.

I refuse to chant any song shared by Luis Suarez

Lee by a country mile.
Also, is it Kieran or Keiran? Because he has a namesake with the alternative spelling of his forename who happens to be a male pornstar, which I unfortunately found out once whilst attempting to view the footballing Lee's wikipedia page...

just a thought, how many keepers go on to be managers? i cant actually think of one current manager who was a keeper,
An ex-keeper went on to become pope. If it's good enough for the Catholic church, it's good enough for us.
Actually, I retract that statement.

Our history is full of managers with no previous experience, including the one most seem to want back and our greatest legend of all.
Yes, ideally we want someone with English League experience but if there's nobody suitable available then we have to consider taking a punt on someone.
I hadn't heard of Hudson either, but I'd be willing to interview anybody with a FIFA Pro Licence.
It's fine bringing in someone who's inexperienced during the summer when he's got time to get to grips with the ins and outs of management before the season starts. But bringing in a rookie when we've got 15 games to save ourselves from relegation would be a massive gamble. And one not worth taking imo.

I was hoping this would be Mark tbh

Judging from the atmosphere in the Everton ends last time we visited Goodison, they might be worried he'll wake them all up
-
I'll be there. It'll be my first league game since Boxing Day actually. I've been an awful plastic this season.

The Daily Star printing badly researched nonsense? Well I never

By the end of the Everton replay Barnard smith and iwelumo will all be on the pitch
Yep, as we go looking for a fifth goal against a tired and dilapidated Everton defence.
-
If I recall correctly, Huddersfield fans had taken their shoes off in protest against their then chairman during a game a few seasons ago. This was then countered by Oldham fans imitating them.
I'm sure I'm not making this up.

That famous Scouse wit is on show again I see. Writing stuff like this probably makes him feel better about the fact he lives in a hovel in Huyton. An incredibly bitter man.

Christ Almighty. Can we get some sort of Twitter filter on this messageboard?

Jack Rodwell too, now warming the bench at some no-mark club.
-
Liverpool is the bigger win by far.
Is it? Maybe if you take club size into account, but if we're going off the ability of both teams a win against Everton would be a bigger achievement, definitely.
