I love pre-season

My Italian isn't great, but from what I can make out Piciollo was born in 1920 and is a member of NATO.

He'd have been a very, very good player for us if he'd had even half a brain cell.
-
An absolute managerial dream team, probably rivaled only by Clough and Taylor.

Patrik Berger

He reminds me of this bloke:
-
He couldn't even get in the Bayern Munich first team, I'm not sure why we'd want him here.
-
I realise there's another thread about him, but this is on another subject entirely. I'm chuffed to see he's been given a coaching role at the club, and I feel like he's an underrated or understated club legend. He was one of the few players from the 02-03 exodus (not that I blame any of the players who left for doing so) who stuck around, and he played a massive part in us staying up the following season, which I don't think many of us including myself realise how big an achievement that was. I was only young around that era, and he's always been one of the players who's stuck with me as being a proper club hero. I wish him all the best.

It's an embarrassment. A five year old using paint could've come up with a better design.
-
This is the bloke who thinks he is a gangster isn't it.
The one who jumped a copper?
The one who has :censored:ed Barrow and Chester?
Sounds like he'll fit right in.
Bust by Christmas.
I seem to remember reading that he was somehow involved with Curtis Warren as well. As in Scouse drugs baron Curtis Warren. Definitely seems an ideal person person to takeover our club

And for anyone who likes it but hasn't heard of BoC before, please listen to Music Has the Right to Children. One of my favourite albums ever.
^ This. Roygbiv is my favourite song of all time. Absolute perfection.

Just brilliant. -
I'm unfortunate enough to have a bit of a Manc accent, so I normally get asked "United or City?".
My reply of "Neither mate, Oldham" is usually met with a response similar to this:
-
ABRAHAM!... Apologies, Wilbraham
-
That's fantastic. Especially ""The exertion of such a brainstorm caused this founder to become catatonic and he later died."
-
Agreed. Also that one about Ronaldo and Messi.
And the one about Paul Scholes. Tedious.
-
I think there's going to be a minutes silence at BP this Saturday. Fair play to Corney, a great gesture.
RIP Fergie

Bristol City fans might disagree with you.

Paul Scholes is unproven at this level

You must be bored :censored:less Jonesy. Roll on August eh?
I'm watching the Cardiff game to be fair, and it got me thinking. Sure, they've gone up. But at what cost? AT WHAT COST!?
-
Here's the scenario: a Russian oligarch wants to take over the club, but says he will only invest if we agree to change our kit colour to all green and our nickname to, let's say the Green Owls. Would you feel uncomfortable throwing away decades of history and tradition for a shot at glory, or do you believe there's no room for sentiment in football anymore?
