i think this is a good signing like people have said we could do with another striker though

yep thats the one the post said that bolton have ripped his contract up without him even playing a game

just seen over on 606 that we have offered Ian Walker a contract anybody think there is any truth in it?

why are people turning on hazzel? dont forget he was the first player out of many that were out of contract near the end of last season and he signed a new one without stalling or holding out to see if anyone else made an offer. in my eyes that shows that he is commited to the cause and wants to play for the latics i'd have Ruben over gregan any day of the week and i saw him covering for the training cone on numerous accasions last season

i can understand why people may be happy at him re-signing but i and the others who are not happy just see this as a massive step back. i know his wages were a big factor in his departure he was probably on 5K (guess) and now im guessin he will be on maybe 1.5K at the max. i think the fact that no one else (even shez at chesterfield) wanted him says everything. i could understand people being pissed off with us "moaners" if he was someone compleatly new but like Senor_Coconut said we already know everything that there is to know about him and we pay our hard earned cash to watch the latics as well so we are entitled to our opinion i personaly think people should take off their rose tinted glasses and admit for the majority of games last year he was awful

Im sorry but im goin to live up to my username now. I cant belive how many people are happy that we have signed this waster back im gutted, he's too fat,too slow and too old we may have well put a training cone in defence at some points last year the way that the likes of savage, rickets and any other skriker who was faster than a snail went past him. Also he wasnt much good for the young lads always havin a go at eardley and taylor when ever HE f****d up. It was one of my happiest days as a latics fan when we let him go no im compleatly gutted. I thought Penny had a good eye for a signing and knew what he was doin in the transfer market but his last 2 signings havent filled me with joy to say the least. This signing shows that TTA have got no money and no ambition for our club why release someone and then bring them back they'll be offering dux a playing contract next Anyway rant over and i hope they prove me wrong by bringin in at least a half decent player but i cant see it relegation battle for us next season

i think we need to sign a striker soon its al well and good get all these defenders to keep the ball out of the onion bag but whose goin to put the ball in at the other end? O'grady and Alessandra are hardly goin to scare the vast majority of the defences in this league, neither could finish their tea last year. no ones offered Hughes a contract yet

i must admit he doesnt look much cop cant even get in an aussie team and only played in the reserves for the trannies, sayin that though he did go on loan to droylsden. Nothing on the official site so we'll have to wait and see what happens. Why hasn't DP signed a striker yet?
