People moaned about Failsworth not being in Oldham but some on here are happy playing at the athletics ground, stalybridge and curzon, umbeliveable! Stalybridge is a S***hole, but has decent travel routes Curzon is a good ground but has one road in and one road out of the ground, the traffic would be a nightmare and there's no boozers near the ground apart from the moss on the retail park. Athletics park is miles away and I would assume that it wouldn't be cheap to rent. BUT MOST OF ALL NONE OF THEM ARE IN OLDHAM, FAILSWORTH IS! Nobody wants to leave BP but failsworth wasn't such idea after all was it?

ok granted we're only 6 games into the season but just out of interest at what point CAN we start calling for his head? christmas or when we're in a fight to stay up? and at the end of the day i know the team needs to gel but they are pro footballers not a pub team and im sure we should have started to see signs of them gelling by now

After reading this post it seems to me that nobody is aloud to say anything negative against a latics player, it unbelivable its just the lads opinion I also thought it was a shocking game and came away thinking that if we can beat them how are we going to take anything away from orient and milwall. The way im thinking at the moment is (i know its only the first game) its going to be a long season if dont improve and lets all admit it we need to if we only came away with a goaless draw at home against a team of no hopers. I never have and probably never will be a fan of byfield but he didnt do anything wrong in the 15 mins he was on for the only player i was impresed with and i hate to say it was greagan. Furman and Hazzle were good aswel. Abbot needs to stop doing them daft flicks and improve his first touch as it got away from him a lot, i wasnt impresed with holdsworth and worthington, the 2 full backs didnt do too bad i supose given that the have only just arrived and need time to settle. The worst player wasnt byfield by any strech of the imagination. It was TAYLOR he just didnt look interested and looked like he doesnt want to play for us anymore. He couldnt pass the ball doesnt get stuck in is scared to takle he had a good effort in the second half i'll give him that but thats about it. Before you all start having a go at me aswell for saying something negative against a latics player these are only my opinions and i hope that it was a one off performance. Also the fact that we started the season off well last year and finished poor maybe a sign that if we start poor we might finish good

Where are all the gregan fans that were so against my comments when we signed him back? I dont want to say it but I TOLD YOU SO he's a fat waster and we would be better off putting a training cone in the back 4 instead of him. At least the strikers might trip over that, they cant miss gregan. He@s too slow and all he can do is hoof it up field and head it into the rochdale road end.

im from failsworth so maybe my opinion is biase but all this talk of ruining the area and moving to failsworth because it is that far away from oldham town centre it may as well be on the moon is really starting to p*** me off. The area where the new stadium is going to be built is a waste groung where an old driving range and a cinder football pich used to be, they cant knock the lancaster club down as it is a listed building, they are going to relocate the allotments and as for dynomos they will get moved somewhere else like brierly ave opossite failsworth school or the club will build some piches near to the ground. I cant belive that there are latics fans aginst the move are they really that stupid? so what if we are moving to failsworth maybe they would prefer it if we moved to rochdale or bury because last time i checked they definately WEREN'T in oldham or maybe they would prefer it if we stayed in the s***hole that is boundry park and not have a club to support as we inevitably go bump. what the f**k has the post code of failsworth got to do with anything? its still oldham and its the only place that the TTA can put the ground and attract new fans. there are 3 pubs near the gound the spinners at the bottom of broardway (its shut now but im sure it would open again if a new ground was bult there) the lamb in further down and one just down from there (i cant remember what it is called) and the lancaster club is a listed building so that cant be knocked down. The buses run up oldham road ever 10 mins roadway is a dual carrageway and its not far from the m60. in my opnion is that its the bet place for it and FALSWORTH IS STILL OLDHAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i'll belive it when i see it but i think this is the only place they could move to attract new fans even though it is closer to eastlands i also recon that the TTA are holding oldham council to ransom saying that if they dont put the planning permision the trough they will move the club out of oldham andwe could end up in tameside! im all for this as i would be able to walk to the ground instead of having to drive up oldham road

i must admit i was a bit negative towards DP when he brought gregan back but i have to admit he is winning me over after these last 3 signings i dont want to put the dampers on things but i hope they gel quickly

has been relesed from yeovil would anyone have him back i was a fan of his when he was at latics and if was being honest i would like to see him back
